Indoor Barneys farm critical kush LED

I'm not sure man been wondering myself maybe it's a deficiency causing it to take longer? It's been like that since the beginning of flowering tho no other symptoms really so just kinda hoping it's genetic. When you get a chance put up a pic of your plant.

I dunno man. I'm no expert, but besides the few yellow leaves your plant looks pretty legit so I don't think it's a deficiency. What are your temps like? Might be related, I know some strains color up in cooler temps. I'll get some pics later tonight when the wifey gets home (her phone's camera is way better than mine, lol) and post 'em up for ya.

I'm no photographer so pics still aren't great, but here's my girl. You can't really see it in the pic of the full plant, but I did a bit of defoliation to her as well. I wouldn't call it a proper lollipopping, but there were a handful of smaller fan leaves and really underdeveloped popcorn buds that never would have amounted to much that I decided to get rid of. If she didn't have such a long maturity time I don't think I would have bothered to prune her this late in the game, but considering I've probably got another month at least, I think she'll recover easily enough.

Wow great job, she looks real healthy! Sorry if you mentioned it but how many days is it? Pics came out good too! I know it's behind mine but yours could finish faster than mine I'm thinking about doing a full flush when I get a chance cus I haven't done that yet I'm noticing salt buildup around the fabric pot it's in. Don't know if I got some type of lockout or something cus I been hitting her heavy with nutes.

Thanks man. She's exactly 20 days behind yours, so day 56 here. I'm having some issues with what seems to me to be a phosphorous deficiency, but it's gotten a lot better than when I first noticed it. I started the grow without a proper PH meter - I was just using the drops, and my PH was all over the place for a good month or so. :face:

I forget, are you running soil or coco? What're your nutes PH'd to? I'm running a 2.5 gallon hempy bucket, and loving it so far. Can't wait to see what her roots look like.

Im using happy frog soil in a 3 gallon fabric pot i used about 50/50 mix perlite/soil. My ph pen is kind of iffy I literally have like 5 of them and they all suck, I use ph up because when I mix the nutrients it drops down to 5 I try to keep it 6.1 to 6.5 tho. I'm very interested in hempy seems like a great idea and probably more control over soil.

Right on. I haven't messed with soil much. I started off trying Kind Soil with peat & perlite overtop, but I had a handful of seed failures (totally my fault) and I just found it really nerve-wracking to know when I was watering enough vs too much, so I took a bit of a step back and decided to give hydro a shot. Initially I was gonna go the DWC route, but I have mobility/chronic pain issues as well as a fairly warm growing area, so I decided against it since res changes and root rot would probably be just as much of a hassle as soil had been.

On the other hand, the hempy bucket has been a great system for me so far. My medium is 3:1 perlite to vermiculite, and I hand-water daily. My nute regimen is crazy simple, and even now in full flower I only have to mix a gallon of nutes every other day which takes me all of 15 minutes. Right now I PH to about 6.1-6.2, but I'm gonna be dropping it down to 5.8 or so starting tomorrow to see if I can knock out the last bit of that phosphorous issue I'm having. I dunno how much of a hassle flushing soil is, but if I want to do a total nute change/flush in my bucket, I just have to water the plant with fresh nutes til I get however much run-off I consider "good enough" and I'm done. And I don't have to worry about overwatering - I give her a couple cups a day til her roots hit the res, then just replace whatever she drinks the next day. The perlite/vermiculite does a great job at holding enough water for her to drink without staying soaked.

Anyway, I'm writing a book here. Sorry man. I'm definitely no expert, but feel free to let me know if you have any other questions and I can try to answer 'em for ya, or point ya towards a few really good threads I got my info from.

Looking good, man. Was wondering how she was doing but didn't want to bug ya, lol.

So it's interesting - looking back at the few close-ups you took recently and the close-up you just posted your leaf-tips are showing the same little bit of browning that mine are. I'm wondering if it's an overfeeding issue. Have you noticed any nute sensitivity in your grow so far?

How much longer you thinking she'll go?

Ya I've been feeding her pretty heavy with tiger bloom she's definitely burnt. She was kind of at a point where she was doing nothing, and impatient me just nailed her with nutes. I'm going to take it easy for now and just try to keep ph good and see how things go.

Right on. I've been having what I think are some phosphorous issues so I dropped my PH down a bit to see if that'll help. Gonna give her a few more days before I decide if it's helped or not (seems to so far though) but after that I think I'm gonna be dropping her down to 3/4 strength nutes to see if the tip burn goes away. Just trying not to make too many adjustments at a time.

Any thoughts on your next grow? I've been looking at a couple Sweet Seeds strains. Nice and fast, lol. No more of this 80+ day nonsense! :nono:
