Hello all! This will be my first Journal, 3rd grow. My first 2 grows were successful, 1 Joint Dr. ER and 1 WOS AK Ryder. Both incredible plants.

Now on to the experiment knows Auto Flower Power

The Setup:
She will spend 2 weeks in a converted file cabinet with 6 CFLS (3 red,3 Blue) then into the tent.
Growlab GL60
400W Sunsystem HPS
Htgsupply.com 4" inline fan and filter combo

Nutrients/soil:
Fox Farm OF
General Hydroponics trio (my first time using this lineup,hope it goes well)

Just a quick update:

Day 5... a little concerned with what I've been reading about OF. I wish i had started in a jiffy pallet or something but we live and learn. The girls have done well in OF from seed but id like to perfect my technique and use a less "hot" soil for germing/seedlings or possibly use a different soil altogether from now on. Any suggestions?Something that compliments my line of nutes. (General Hydroponics Flora grow,bloom,micro)

i dunno, you could get a coco pot and then do a mix of some neutrals, like peat, moss, perlite, just a little OF mix soil in the bottom of the cup, then transplant that into what you got. I've been really considering Myco in the mix to really push root development and overall growth. Then just water the babe with a bit of molasses and SUperthrive mix. It'll get all it needs till it gets to that OF and then be happy. Just my thoughts. Check out FullD's grows. He's really good with the soil, take some techniques of his and adapt to what you want.
Oh and get a little airstone bubbler or O2 seltzer tabs to make nute mix with. FullD really recommended this to get O2 to roots and boost development.

Thanks for the suggestion gearbear. I was trying to plant in the same container that she would finish in but my plans are changing daily! Will check out FullD's grow.

ur right.. peat pot...... yeah... any kind of organic non-ferted soil... then mix with about 1/3 perlite..... start in that... then add nutes or tranplant to nuted soil dep on prefs... best to not transplant as you risk shock and stunting... FD's soil mixes kick ass!

myzos ive heard good reports on... I found i'm just great with root drench (Bushdoctor which is also AKA Fox Farms)

I use the fox farm line and amend the other neccesary stuff... specifically I use Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and Big Bloom and bushdoctor Root Drench.. over 30 different species of good fungi and bacterials... they make my girls kick the crap outta any photo plant any day!
