Grow Mediums Bailey goes coco with Barney's Farm and Dinafem

Traditionally, as they poke through I tuck them back under to the next square.
However, this last scrog I put the screen under the branches and anchored them down as the new growth gets longer I stretch it and then anchor it to the net. Keeps the under growth out of your way. I then tuck the fan leaves through the holes downwards. Bud sites above getting all the light.
Thanks Roark ure a star bro so just keep anchor the stems to the net

Hey @Bailey ,looks like your squared away, yes the tips do wanna do their own thing and keep popping to the light, whatever it takes to keep em below the squares is necessary ,in my case with the screens only being 18"x18" on the non-topped plant,I ran out of squares and had to let them grow up,it still created a good canopy with long buds, just different than the topped plant...

So basically I'm best to tie the stems down bro. Ure girls were lovely do u think the topped plant worked better when time to train was better

IMO I think it worked better for my lights and growing style, the buds are thick dense and compact, the trade off is total yield, I only use 600 w HPS ,and light penetration gets a little iffy when the plants get too tall,in comparison the non topped plant has colas that are 12-16 inches, but they are skinnier at this point,I'm working on making them fat but this plant will have more popcorn from the thick vegetation and the distance from the light..

I got alot of popcorn buds on my first grow because me like you are using hps and it doesn't penetrate lower sites that's why I lst last grow but I could only fit one plant in so to grow two in that space scrog is the only way @dirty budster has the same tent and done a 3 plant scrog with great success so that's why I'm giving it a go to maximize space

Nice,I think you will have great success with your setup and the scrog,I'm pretty set on scrogging but you are right that there needs to be less plants when they start getting spread horizontally, they do get wide !!

Thanks bro I really hope this is a great success I need to fill more jars so I don't need to worry about running out.
Do u think 3 would be overkill

Hmm ,not sure let me backtrack thru your pics,if one large scrog net is used then dont do more than three, the reason I went with smaller individual screens is so that I can still move them, work on them, water without to much hassles, you know all the important stuff without the plants being "stuck" in the screen, the 18"x18" with a nice flat "topped canopy" I could get 6 plants( I think) ,that would put me over the 4'x4' recommended area for the 600w but they can be rotated for different light angles too,I also open grow so the most important area is the top since I only have one reflective wall,it's all about finding what works for your style, and i think I've just now found my style..I will still do comparative grows tho because not all strains may do good with the training,I had an epic surprise that grew normal height and couldn't fill the screen and am still growing the long pheno that could fill the 4x4 by itself...

My screen is the whole size of my tent 60+60
My two plants are at the back in 18 litre smartpots and im adding one 11 litres smart pot to the front so fingers crossed it all goes well
