I would like to know if the AKR goes Amber, and if so when. If anyone has grown these please chime in.

I am on day 67 of one and its going to need another week I think. Its about 50% cloudy and 50% clear still. I wish there was a way to speed this part up. I will let you know when she is done.

Im at about day 48 with my AKR. They are in 5g pots, so im not sure if that has extended the grow time or not. Either way I would say the description of "55 days from seed" on the package is false. Expect more like 65-70 days from what I've read.
Also, I'm not sure the trics on AKR will go Amber. 100% cloudy might be as good as it gets. But I guess we will know for sure when Scott817 finishes his up.

I have run 11 WOS AKR - All autoed fine and all were consistant - I grow outdoors, and I cut when they are ready, not by date, however most were pulled between 77-85 days. My first I let go to 90 days waiting for them to amber up - none of mine have ambered, so i pull when they all go clowdy and swell, also need to see the fan leaves dropping. Indoor may be more consistant and quicker since you have longer light hours. My buds keep growing the whole time so you still have white pistals at the tips. Good luck, and that bud is potent as hell. Speaking of which - I'm gonna go hit a dab of it right now..........this is avery tasty strain and the aroma is increadible.
I recommend to everyone to make some honey oil from this by what ever means you prefer. Good stuff - great for pain relief and insomnia.

Easyryder is another of my favorites - great minds must think alike! It is another consistant strain - main pheno variation I found is smell. Some do, some dont. The phenos that smell will smell beautifully afer a nice cure. The ones that don't smell during veg lean on the Indica side and do not smell as nice in the jar when curing. Regardless, the buzz is similar with all the phenos, but the no-smell will hit a little heavier. I am just a huge fan of the smell. Others hate it for stealth, but, man, I absoutly love it. Remember I'm not stinking up a house during the grow since I'm growing outdoors, but if you open a cured jar your house will smell nice and fruity for a while. Just wait till it hits the grinder.......I almost want to eat it instead of smoking it as is it smells so good.
This strain will go amber - so much so that if you go a day or two too long, the plant looks like it is forming rust on its leaves with the naked eye. Easy to spot the amber on this one! At least outside it is. The bud sites/sugar leaves start to look dingy and dull, then they look like rust. Kinda weird - I have never seen a photo do that; especially an AK photo.
