Grow Mediums Autopot experts can you help me?

Your welcome. and yes, it only take a little dirt/ soil to mess with it. I clean the cover before I open it to check the valves.

Hi again - how often would you expect the tray to empty of water? I know this wold depend on the plant size obviously but ive checked what i deem to be the problem plant in regards over watering, i checked the tray at 11am and it was full, just checked it at 2pm and still full?
The plant across from it has noticeably less water in the tray
At some point in the day the tray should have a lot less water than this morning i would think?

Too many factors to answer that. 1/2 a day, maybe more depending how fast your plant is taking in water, temperature, how dry or wet the coco/soil is is, etc. You notice after a while when your plant is taking more water or not. You should be ok. There is not much that can go wrong with the valve.

All the above.... & make sure the valve is seated pushed well on to the base retainer clip thingy.

Plants seem generally ok - not convinced the suspect valve is operating 100% correctly but that plant looks ok

Maybe you should post some pics of the plant so we can see what's going on. Auto pots either work or not, there is no in between.

yeah they are pretty much fine now - its just problems with magnesium, i gave them cal-mag supplement but my water has a lot of calcium in it already, this led to calcium toxicity which locked out some other elements! So they are slowly recovering from that :)

I'm thinking about switching to coco and buying the autopot system, so am subbing in to watch you grow.
