At this point they are probably just hungry as there are no nutrients in your soil, so I would give them a very light feeding. When seedlings start to yellow it's a good bet they are lacking nitrogen.

Also, when taking pictures to show a problem or deficiency, please move them from under your lights. It's hard to see the true color of the plants when they are under MH or HPS lights.

hi Beelu, try not to overwater the roots, I know you are ownly 50% soil but try to keep it aerated as well and not too heavy. The root structure in there may be 'loose' so be sure to be extra careful when transplanting

Maybe they are a bit nutrient deficient, as someone else said it is only 50% soil, maybe try a small amount more nutrition using seedling formula. Hopefu;;y the plants will get stronger as they get bigger and you will be OK. good luck

Many Thanks Tony, for your comments and advice. Both duly noted. I know its gonna be tough to transplant, so i was thinking just to cut open the pots instead of making them turn up side down to get the plant out. Hope it works fine.
For 'Water' have been watering regularly. As per your advice will cut it down a little. For nutes, I have started simple NPK+T.E 20/20/20 , using 1/4th of the recommended dose.

Thanks much again :-) Cheers.

DAY16 Tranplanted 3 plants into 12L pots

Hi Growers!

Quick update, have transplanted the three bigger plants into 12 liter pots. Also have changed the soil mix in bigger pots. Used 70% J. Arthur Bower's multi purpose compost with INNES 15% Vermiculite and 15% Perlite. This soil mix should give my plants enough nutrition for 2-3 weeks more. Girls looking real nice though and have already started to smell like Indica strain. Loving it !

Anyone used the same Soil mix (J. Arthur Bower's)? Any comments on it? Thanks.

Cheers!

Day 19 - BURNT TIPS - Need advice please.

Hi Fellows,

Plants are showing yellow tips :( only the very tips of 3rd set and 4th sets of leaves (plz see pics). Wonder if its N deficiency or high temps. For last 2 days temp has went up to highest 35C. Been trying best to keep'em low (most of time around 29/30C) but here in our part of world, we are facing 20 hours power outage out of 24 daily!!! my lights n fans are running on power generator but the AC is not :/
Have re-arranged the set up too, since bigger pots needed more room. Got the lights hung from ceiling facing onto plants. (see pic) about 2 1/2 ft away from plants. Before they were about a foot higher.
The soil as I mentioned in earlier post, been changed. Also the water soluble NPK I am using, I have raised it amount per gallon (previous water 7gm/gallon now 12 gm/gallon). I would appreciate your advice fellows, cause these burnt tips are not letting me sleep...

Thanks

Doesn't burnt tips mean over-nuted them a little? If it's just the tips I would back off on nutes a bit. You just transplanted 3 days ago. There should've been enough in that mix to last it awhile. Have a little patience and see how they do. Sometimes the best thing to do is nothing.
