Thanks much JM for the advice. I will gradually raise the PH.
Another quick question... To start off the change should i use 7.5 i/o 7.2 in feed water or even higher? Kindly advise.

Day 32

Hi fellows,

Few snaps from my garden, as an update to my grow. Plants looking fresh n healthy. Please view pictures and kindly do comment. Also note the new growing stems in side view.

Have not messed with ph till yet. simply feeding same tap water. Our tap water comes from well and is pure natural water (not suitable for drinking still) but does not have chlorine or anything added into it by authorities.

Day 36 - Pistols !

Hi fellows,

Congratulation to all of you, the virgins are blooming now and have exposed their sex. All the plants have shown sex at nodes. Few pictures attached.

Tallest of the four is 18" now and shortest is 14". Have attached the pictures of couple of girls. One is skinny and tall but getting bushier, other ones most bushiest plant of mine.
Also note in 1st picture how the tip of the plant has bent a little giving room to other new stem to share the top bud spot. I think that is pretty cool but don't know how it happened.

What do you all suggest about starting nutes now? As its been couple of days since they showed pistols. Personally was thinking of starting to nute them lightly from tomorrow.

Day 40

Hi fellows,

few pics from the garden. everything looking good so far. one plant is a not very bushy till now. any advice on that? its about 20" tall now. rest of the plants are 15"-18".

debating with myself on adding a 400W HPS into the grow, giving total of 800W to 4 plants. any suggestions? please advise.

loving your grow and on the light idea you have from all the many hours research i have done i say why not as some people use 1000w lights just aslong as it doesn't shock the plant so i guess you would have to put it really high as a supplementary light and lower it slowly to match your current lights and heat issues so inches a day and no more but then that is up to you completely and as i can see it your girls are looking lovely anyway but thats just my tuppence worth and bare in mind i am a noob

@Smarticus, Bro, many thanks for your compliment, this is what i finally did today: Replaced the 250W with a 400W. so now i have 1 x 150W HPS and 1x 400W HPS. Total of 550W HPS. keeping the 400W away a little initially cause this one produces almost double the heat than 250W. This 400W has the same brand Philips Son T Pro bulb made in Belgium in it, and ballast is Vossloh Schwabe. Wish i cud go with a 1000W but that is a little out of my budget right now. Also, this is my first grow, so me a noob too! but trying my best to cure some healthy buds since have not chiefed any weed for last 7 years. only hash.

Mate hash was where it was at all through my early smoking days and to be honest if i could get nice puff now i would but no one has it anymore.. hows the girlys looking? i bet you have seen a few inches growth in the last couple of days and how are the lights working out for you now? cant wait to see your next set of pics
