how close can i put my 400w hps to my seedlings

Hi im extracted to living room the tents there also ive always done that heres a pic of my skunk#1 autos that was middle of summer temps outside was 35c 28c in tent humidity 30% ive always had success with what i use but im thinking if i get everything perfect it will be alot better i just gota be carefull with extraction as im on ground floor flatView attachment 1552465

I take it your in the UK like myself anyhow you want your seedling to be nice and cosy and if you haven't got hangers to lower your light put your plant on a box or whatever else you've got to hand also later down the line your gonna need a carbon filter with your fan for smell etc

Im still new too, technically if you have been doing it on and off for 15 years you got more under your belt than me. @St. Tom, who replied a lil bit a go is a god when it comes to solo cup grows. He knows a lot, he would definitely be a good place to start with questions.

wow that's some praise but once you get your environment dialled in they pretty much grow themselves and you just need to stay on top of them

Hi i use chains to lower light i will put it a little closer for now ive never used a carbon filter i smoke cannabis and a lot of my neighbours we was smoking once and police turned up about something he wasn't bothered just told us not to smoke near him there more bothered about junkies and drug dealers where i live

Id definitely take the filter advice. I have one plant right now in full flower and I can still smell it upstairs. I smoke a lot too but fresh bud and cured bud have 2 entirely different odors. A non smoker may not be able to tell the difference but one loud mouth consumer is all it takes.

I here u both i have a carbon filter i will put it on im more bothered about someone trying to rob me i got held at knife and taser point 5 years ago for 7 plants it took 4 people i was only getting 3oz a plant at the time if i was a grass they would have got 7 years for a few ounce each i also lowered light ppfd is at 280 thanks for your help much apreciated
