Autoflowers Not Growing !!

The soil you posted states that it feeds for 3 months ... probably what stunted that plant (InMyOpinion) ... I'd steal a little soil out of the other pot and put a bagseed in it ... if it goes nowhere, it's your soil ...

I want some of what Musturd is smoking ... those plants don't have enough roots to fill a teacup ... I doubt they are burrowing deep into the soil to provide the energy for a sudden burst of growth ... I think most of us stunted our first auto grows so don't feel too bad ... :joint:

those plants are nice and yea mine are way smaller than yours and mine are older and yea i thought i stunted them but i doubted it because i only fed once so i didn't think it could have been that!

organic soil. I've had two seeds bought a separate times from world of seeds, Big Bud Northern Lights, both were horribly stunted due to organic soil. I bought the soil from Home Depo, and that's one lesson Ill never forget. Three and a half months later i got a whopping 2g's off one and 4g's off the other. These lessons to be learned from every experance, don't kill them. You just might learn the secret to undo the damage, you never know. Needless to say ive switched to FFOF and a Roots organic mix that works well. I've also had good success with MG seed starting mix. But I will say that the FFOF mixed with Roots organic is much, much cheaper. Best of luck, p.s. what kind of water are you using? Much grow karma sent your way!

im using tap water that sits for 24 hrs then is put in a tubawear container with an air pump that pumps oxygen all day everyday until im ready to water and im using grotek vitamax plus for every other week feeding wich i fed once!

I tried the mg starting soil on a few photos and I was getting nute burn on my seedlings.

Just my experience.

Peace

Is this your first grow? Just trying to find out is maybe there's some thing in your water. Just a thought. Here's my stunted baby at two months. Most of us have dealt with this frustrating problem at one time or anouther.

yea its my first autoflower grow but my 2nd grow in general and im going to buy a ph meter to see if it is my water so ill let you guys kno hopefully they get better any recommendations for soil for next grow?

was just posting that for some comparison, i overwatered myself last year and had similarly small plants just thought it could be that.
anyway good luck i would probably start them again or start different ones alongside and see how they do.
happy growing

should i start the new autoflower in a Dixie cup then transplant or start where im going to finish?

it would be harder to overwater anyway alot do that with another cup outside that. the innner cup has the bottom cut out so you just lift the inner one out and plant that directly into your final container in the cup. no damage to the roots then. it might limit the overall size of the plant by being shallower than a 5 gal but not much.

starting in a large container is best i would say but its very easy to screw up thats all. if you do again minimal water, i would mix up the soil and water that to check runoff then leave that a day or two to dry out maybe more i dont know your local temp/humidity etc itll be different everywhere. then plant seed in the moist not wet soil and just water like 20 mls to start or mist the surface working up in amounts the larger it gets. aslong as theres some moisture in the soil that way itll be fine and its roots will go searching for more water.

the dixie cup method is easier and will get better results overall when youre starting uup id say but its your call.

if youve seeds and space id go for it.
