Autoflowers Not Growing !!

IMHO get a 3 gallon equivalent air pot and plant directly into it. FFOF soil and mix it with another soil. FFOF is a great soil but is a bit heavy by itself. That's what I'd recommend. As to your water. A ph meter is good for just that, ph. Ask your water utility company for a TDS read out and research whats in there. You may find the culprit thats either locking out nuets or find there's nothing wrong and you got great water. Either way its always a good idea to know exactly what your feeding your girls. :2cents:

You could also try adding a layer of 2 inches or so of seed starting substrate to the very top of the ffof so that the roots get a good start before reaching the ffof. It works very well for me. If you are growing organic id also suggest r/o water, but odds are ypu would have to buy some cal/mg for it. But these are just my opinions. Hope all works out bud

ok ill probably pick up some fox farm what should i mix it with and where can i buy the airpots ? ill be planting my last seed tomorrow its a big buddah critical mass any suggestions on when to start feeding nutes?

With FFOF not until 3 weeks above soil. Airpots at your grow, or hydro store. I like the Roots organic, most likely at the same place as FFOF

Skrewg ... the layering works in theory but usually not in practice ... the tap root would penetrate the top 2" in under 2 days and it's generally best to keep the plant from getting shocked by any fertilizer for the first 10 days to 2 weeks ... I've tried several variations of layering and none have worked for me w/ autos ...

Is this your first grow? Just trying to find out is maybe there's some thing in your water. Just a thought. Here's my stunted baby at two months. Most of us have dealt with this frustrating problem at one time or another.

Nam ... do you know what stunted this one ? I wish one of the highly skilled growers here would do a thread on what not to do to avoid stunting autos .... it takes so little to slow/stop the growth of an auto seedling ...
