Autoflowers Not Growing !!

yes they are 5 gallon pots and i usually water when my second knuckle on my finger comes up dry after i stick it in the soil but i may have overwatered them at the beginning and two bottom leaves fell off yesterday so that's why they probably look healthy now, yes its a grow light i got it from the hydroponics store and its blue maybe i should put in a red bulb??

Where yours as old as mines ? other auto growers say by this time it should already be bigger ? im not sure first autos ive delt with !

In a 5 gal bucket may be a clue, the roots are working now, there going deep and deeper cause 5 gal is pretty big. You may just end up with monsters. Dont be stuck on 60-65 days it may take 90. They look healthy let em grow.

:peace: grow/learn

No, you're right to use the blue for veg....How long did you have the light closer than 18 - 19 inches? And how close was it? And what made you change your mind and raise it?

Just curious...

A plant that small with temps at 80 that 5gal pot will take a long time to go dry. Pick it up after watering and feel the weight, then when you test if it needs water you will know the difference. I use 3gal pots and after first initial watering I dont have to water for almost 2 weeks.

The light was right on top of them about 4-5 inches away and the bottom leaves we turning brown, well atleast the tips were and the temp was around 85-90 and i didn't like that much so i left it a couple more days to see if it was the light or not and nothing got better so i figured it was the light because i had recently bought it and i moved it away maybe 9-10 inches and then i seen a little bit of growth i mind you that the bottom leaves that tips turned slightly brown got worse and the turned yellow then grey and fell off but the plant went from wilting to upright and i seen a little growth but now i notice the smaller plants leaves turning yellowish not fast but slowly

And thanks musturd i appreciate your response i hope they are monsters and ok ill give it a try and keep them see what i get!!

soil looks very wet to me.

second knuckle isnt really tranferable across different pot sizes. for a huge pot that sounds overwatered at this stage. later on they can take more.
i would say overwatering is your problem. in huge pots you shouldnt be saturatig them. look at the size of the plant and think how much water it contains. not a huge buckets worth anyway they just wont use it. they just need a little to get by.

all plants will be different and yours look healthy but heres mine in the same size containers at 19 days (one in airpot is older.)
give themsome time to dry out theyll build better roots and get growing faster. these will probably stay small but advice for next time.

Do you have a fan going over the plants when you had it really close? I think you should be able to lower the light if you do.
