sup ma peeps I had 3x different seed packs and put all in between wet paper towels covered by glass dishes ... last night they all half opened and I put them into soil ... today checked all of them have not one bit of sprouting so I have put back into paper towels again .... is it possible for them to maybe sprout again? Or have I ruined it already

They can take a good few days to break the soil you need to have a little patience have they sprouted at all in the paper towel once they pop a tail out you can plant them I also start mine directly in root riots you could try this at some stage it's very rare I lose a seed https://www.autoflower.org/threads/germination-the-ronin-way.33891

@St. Tom half of them had a tiny cracked shell so I planted them but I have now put them back into paper towel... any chance at all they will survive?

basically I took them out of the paper towel too early and left them in soil overnight .. no progress whatsoever so I put back into paper towel today... will this work?

No, just leave them in moist soil. They’ll pop up out of the dirt in 3-7days. Just because they have their root showing and a cracked shell doesn’t mean they are going to sprout their leaves overnight!

I put my seeds directly in to soil to germinate - no paper towels or anything. You just have to be patient to grow these ladies.

You will still be ok but once you plant them just leave them some stubborn seeds could take a week to break the soil but you need a lot of patience with growing

Just put them in the soil. Mist the soil. Place a humidity dome over them. A clear solo cup works great. Do not touch the domes for 3 or 4 days. If any dont break ground put the domes back on for another 3 or 4 days. Do not poke around in the soil to look for progress. They are extremely fragile. Take a breath and trust the process.

You need to exercise patience. And that can be difficult for new growers. You can wait for tap roots in the paper towel, then place in medium with tap root in the down position. Try not to get too handsy.
