Grow Mediums autoflower feeding chart

today my tds meter came in and i just measured the ppm of my res. it read, 204....i use r/o water and that reads 60 from the tap. my critical mass is 9 days old today. it is not yet 2in tall and has started its 3rd set of leaves, the 2nd set of leaves are about 1/2in long. the question is, should i be feeding it more? i dont have a ph meter but most of my research states the r/o water is ph of 7 or less, if this is true will it be an issue? p.s. im trying to get a camera rounded up so i can post pics

Hey Tank ... i go by EC to measure nutes ,its universal but ppm/tds meters vary on 3different scales .View attachment 166926& PH is even more important than ppm in hydro ... needs to be at 5.8 or in that range the whole time or your plant will suffer .. ph%20chart.gifI still don't know what system your using & again the numbers may vary depending on that but i started some beans in DWC with both high & low PH & EC ... didn't go well ... only when i got the nutes & PH right did things work (2months later)View attachment 166928this my Blue mammoth chart (bad i know!) but notice the starting EC at week 1 ? .. other autos may vary & this ones a beast ... others are dwarf auto's & these may take less nutes ... but a PH meter is essential for hydro ... it sways & needs keeping in check .

a full run down on set up / strain ect would help :smokebuds::peace:

a full run down on set up / strain ect would help :smokebuds::peace:[/QUOTE]

here is my setup: 2.5' x 2.5' x 5' grow tent,
im running a 400w MH (36,000 lumens, 6,000K) im running the ipower digital ballast @ 75% (currently running 19/5)
i have got the 3gal bubble boy dwc with one 3'' air stone (water level is about 1/2in up the bottom of the net).....filled with r/o water:60ppm ph:n/a
as for the medium, im using hydroton and started the seed in agromax seed starting cube
for the nutes, i have the fox farm trio (big bloom:.01-.3-.7 grow big:3-2-6 tiger bloom:2-8-4) hydro formula and monitering with the HM digital tds tester(ppm)
ill be using the GH1514 ph control kit (being shipped) and monitering with the HDE digital ph meter (also being shipped)
i also have a humidifier to control R/H around 55%, temp has been between 70-80 F.

as for the seed, im not sure where it came from. my bro-inlaw said he got them for the single seed center.
although i did just purchase a few:
1x Nirvana - Auto Northern Lights - Feminized
1x Dutch Passion - Think Different Automatic - Feminized
1x Genehtik - AK Auto Goxuak - Feminized
i am def. looking foward to growing DP's think different!

if i left anything out just let me know!

UPDATE:
our local harware store happen to carry the ph test strip for fish tanks. the kit measures from 6.2-8.somthing. i just tested my r/o water and it was around 7, i then tested my res. and it was 6.8.

1)now that i have figured out why my girl is stunted....i am patiantly waiting for my ph kit! :pop:
with that said, do you guys think my plant is toast? it is 10 days old, there is no yellow on it but it is very slow growth! (some new growth)
my ph kit should be here within the next day or so.

im kinda using this plant as an experiment with hydro(dwc)....if a (somewhat) success, i will be growing 3 autos next run!

2)once my ph kit kits here, how do i go about flushing my system?
i read somewhere that a pro says to ph your water to a neutral 7.0, add your nutes, then ph to desired range (5.8)
-i have so far add 1/3 strength of ff hydro feeding chart ec=.4........too early for this??

3)do you think i should resoak my hydroton in the properly ph'd water?

When i make a fresh batch of nutes ,I fill a container with the res amount ... aerate it for 24hrs with a spare air pump .. then add nutes ... then set PH.... try to get the temps the same as the old res ...check levels again & adjust if needed & swap .

I soaked the pebbles in Ph 5.8 water(with a touch of root stim!) for 24/48hrs then let it dry out before using in the system ,but you don't have too.May not be a good idea now your up & running though.

Try to get things in check & give her a few days to see if she picks up.My mammoth took like 10 days + to get going & is a big girl now!.

Any roots in the res yet?.:peace:

well, i have decided to pull the plug (transplanted to FF Ocean Forsest Soil) on this critical mass. simply do to my ignorance and not having ordered the proper tools! it is starting to be too much of a hassel trying to guestimate (ph kit still hasnt arrived) where my ph is running at. then, i had a brilliant idea (after i read that the higher ph levels block out the phos. and potasium) to start adding the tiger bloom to the nutes simply trying to get more of what the plants are locking out (P-K)! not wise, (was toooo stoned and thought i was a chemist)!

with that said, im goin to take all of this advice i have got from all of you pros and start over! i should have done the proper research before i started this project!
i greatly appriciate the time spent to answer my questions, i am a NOOB and just tryin to learn the art of growin dank smoke!

after looking at what my materials are, do you guys think i need anything else (as far as root stim, calmag, ect..) or should the FF trio get it done?

once again.....thanx for your time!!!:smokebuds:
