Lighting Autocob grow with big sm0 and mephisto.

For a framed light yes and I wouldn't sell a framed light for this reason. Anyone can go and make a light like I said above and get going in cobs. Which is also much easier now with the time I have put into the DIY section. The above comments are a little disrespectful especially after I have helped so many people including you in DIY. This is not the DIY section this is the autocob section.

Okay, so speaking of framed lights.. What if you have a frame that mounted to the top of the tent with multiple attachments to move lights around, and a power strip for the lights. Maybe I'm over complicating this, but curious about blowing up my 4x4 tent with cobs and like what you've been doing.

Don't take this as DIY talk, I'm curious about working with you again.

No man that's all good. I don't mind frame talk just don't link another company to buy the parts is all. What I did in my straight area was attached a piece of thin chain across the ceiling and hung each off of that. I have also used a ratchet hanger as well. I may just buy a few hundred of these and add them to the website.

In my tent I just hang them from the cross bars which are all adjustable

A chain is a great idea for attaching the autocobs wherever you want them! Great idea man, thanks. I have been fumbling with a solution

This may be an ignorant question, so bare with me. Have you measured PPFD on your lights? I'm barely understanding this and trying to read up on it a little, but I'm also working on a new nutrient regiment while maintaining 7 seedlings at home. Gotta pick and choose your battles.

Yes I am actually making a small space to get the most accurate measurements. Just a 3x3x3 cube with white plastic. With reflectors it's around 500-600 per cob at 16". The 6500k are a lot higher as colors on the far end of the mcree curve register higher numbers on certain meters.

Shit, you lost me.

Are tgese under 3 autocobs?
No they are under 4 cobs now. 220 watts in total. I started with 2 than added the third and fourth when the plants needed it. I'm trying to figure why these are growing so rapidly. Maybe I have been over lighting my plants in the past but this is far better than any of my recent grows up to this point.

Lol I didn't explain that well. my meter is just used in an open space when taking measurements. I'm building a small area with semi reflective walls to take measurements. It's not really needed but more accurate.

This is essentially what I'm trying to figure out. Do I pack 16 cobs in there with dimmers, or do I put 4-6 of your lights in there and call it a day. If I'm not mistaken anything past 1,000 PPFD is useless to a plant without co2.

This is more for photo period. I have noticed bad results hitting this high with autos though. 50-100 cob watts per plant is plenty for autos.
