Dinafem Auto White Widow XXL / Auto OG Kush - Feenix

I've been looking forward to filling my space with this grow, until life got in the way. As of now, I have 2 open spots and will be dropping more White Widows and OG kush as slots come available. These are all in the 3rd week of flower.

The Medium is worm farm compost with 30% Perlite.
White Widow will be in a 5 gallon grow bag
OG Kush in a 3 gallon Airpot.
Grow area is 3.5' x 7' loose wrapped in mylar
Lights are 4 55w 3500k AutoCobs on a 20/4 cycle.
Nutrients are DutchPro supplemented with Super Thrive, Cali-Magic, and Rot Block.
Water is average 7.0 ph at the tap adjusted with PH Down to 5.8.
This should be a fun grow in the company of good folks.
and a tough battle as well.

Day 22

I had to change my plan on the Kush's pot. In place of the 5gal. it's in a 3gal plastic pot. The worm farm closed after the Covid resurge here and I didn't have enough for the big bag.

They got their first dose of nutes Sunday and handled it well. I notice a small, isolated spot on the first true leaf, (Hidden by leaves in the pic) on the Kush while dosing it. So it's not from the feed. No signs of insects. I'll watch it close but it's unlikely a deficiency and sometimes those things just happen.

Thanks Mark. I'm close to the harvest of the present occupants of a few other 5gal. bags and they will soon be full of your White Widow and OG Kush autos..

Finally, I get to sit and do this.
Day 29
I'm really impressed with the girls and their huge first sets of mature true leaves. Double D's at least
I forgot to mention that the OG Kush is almost a week behind the White Widow. I hate to admit that my sausage fingers spilled the cup with the tailed bean into one of the bigger pots and I never found it in the loose Jiffy potting mix that I start in... So I had dropped another. I had hoped and expected the seed to sprout in the big pot but it never did. I figure it has been Tsunamied at every feeding and never got a foothold.

OG Kush lf she looks a little ragged, I've been weaving the top leaves and they have not completely snapped back yet.

Since showing her sex, White Widow experienced an impressive spurt upward. She will be big. She also developed a slight Calcium deficiency. I've upped the CaliMagic dosage from 1 ml to 1.5ml. Having chopped a Blueberry, I moved the Kush next to a plant of similar height and gave the White Widow it's own light, centering her in the sweet spot. She looks a little saggy on top after coming off the dark cycle.

A week behind, OG Kush likes the 1ml dose and is fine. She also showed her sex.

The White Widow is still stretching like crazy. Here she is side by side with the OG Kush.

The discolored leaf in the lower left is a relic of the deficiency. I left it to watch if it survived after adjusting the calmag and it seems to have normalized in spite of the scars.
