New Grower Auto White Widow and Purple Kush grow journal

Does your Calmag have nitrogen in it? If so, discontinue it. This is my bud filler food below, as well as the nitrogen free calmag I use for finicky plants who can't take the Calmag Plus.

Were the plants stunted? They seem to be normal, but not filling up the buds, like it's running behind...

First post day 63 from seed:
I'm growing 2 auto white widows and two Purple Kush in DWC . My problem is there not progressing much from preflowers. They started flowering about 23 days ago. I see most growers autos finish up 10-12 weeks mine are on week 8 and aren't even close.
Using:
Floraduo A/B
Cal-Mag
Just started:
Koolbloom
Diamond Nectar 12 days ago
PPM: 950
PH : 5.8
Any advice or thoughts would me much appreciated, these bad boys should be blowing up with thick buds by now..

Day 67 update
Everything seems healthy just waiting for buds to thicken up. My purple Kush seemed to be a bit stretched. I know sativa's grow in this manner but there is about 2-3 inches between nodes.

Hey witchyhour my calmag has 1% nitrogen. I will discontinue as you recommended. I might have to do another bucket fill and nute change before the raw Cal/mag would arrive at my place. You think i should cut my Normal cal/mag dose in have on next change while waiting for new raw calmag to arrive or remove it completely from my soup? Also the plants have never been stunted they have always been monster grower they are just yet to be showers lol:chef:

I'd completely discontinue it for that plant immediately, and keep an eye on her for calmag dediciency. If you notice any rusty spots forming and I'll take more than a couple of days for the nutrients to arrive, then I'd give her some Epsom salt dissolved in warm water and see if that helps. Using a low dosage of Calmag Plus would be my very last resort, and the plant may be ok without it for a few days. [emoji121] [emoji6]

I'd also squeeze and bend those branches, if she'll take it without breaking the branches.

Hold between your fingers and thumb the branch, between bud sites, and squeeze it as flat as you can carefully, up and down that area between sites. Once it's mushy and easily folded, fold it.

Do that to all branches at that height. The goals are:

- a flat canopy so the light is evenly reaching the whole top,

- allow for better light and air circulation,

- expose lower bud sites to direct light,

- make small side branches become main collas.

Good luck!

This is a trained photo plant.

So once I squeeze the branches and bend them over will everything above the bent pay off the beach die off? Do you have a video of this somewhere?

Is it same as super cropping where after you do it a knuckle forms at the bend site days after? It won't be too much stress for my autos at this stage in the game?

If you're patient, I show a bit of folding here. And no, the colla won't die at all, if you're too brute, like I sometimes am, you may end up with a big branch laying sideways, like in the photos I posted above.

The branch will become thick and scarred where you do it, but it makes more food flow to the buds on top of the colla bent. I'm going to make a quick video, hold on.
