@Tasty Forgive my bluntness, for the many of us that a curious about new LED technology, what advantages come from buying a Tasty LED over the many DIY options and kits available??

We're a small company and cost for shipping single orders across the pond is outrageous. If the company grows enough to justify a distribution point in Europe I would love to do that, but there's no time frame on it.

They originally used 120mm fans that ran at about 38 decibels, which was a little on the loud side. We've switched to a quieter fan, now running at 34 decibels. They're not silent but they are quiet. The problem with silent fans is that they don't create a lot of pressure and the CFM suffers. Keeping the lamps cool is a priority. The cooler they are the more light they provide at the same wattage.

No worries. Buying a Tasty LED means getting some nice shiny lamp enclosures and a warranty :) I think it would be correct to say we provide a service. Even kits take some time to put together on a frame. Not everyone want's to put the time and effort into building their own lamps, but I do encourage people to take a look at that option of they want to save a few bucks.
