They originally used 120mm fans that ran at about 38 decibels, which was a little on the loud side. We've switched to a quieter fan, now running at 34 decibels. They're not silent but they are quiet. The problem with silent fans is that they don't create a lot of pressure and the CFM suffers. Keeping the lamps cool is a priority. The cooler they are the more light they provide at the same wattage.
Thanks. Did not know about the cooler the light is brighter at the same watts. Cool info

@IndicaIVoz do you have question you'd like to ask bro?

Nothing overly intelligent i'm afraid,as i don't know a lot about Leds..I will ask if i can though a laymans question maybe for guys just like me..

Hi there very nice to meet you :) Q. I run Dwc ,What type of lighting setup would you personally direct a person like me towards for massively hard hitting LM for someone pushing genetic potential even if its not so efficient just raw power for say a tent sized space?
Thank you :D :jointman:

I live on the East Coast of the US and have no bush to show anymore. There have been a couple grow logs at RIU and the test lamps in the test threads here at AFN seem to be doing well.

Seeing as the Elvis isn't here, I guess I should ask a suitable car based question.
Kevin if you could choose any American muscle car to own/drive what make/model would you choose?
A bit off topic I know but Elvis normally asks such a question to all our interviewees.

Hi IndicalVoz,

All the Tasty lamps are at least 50% efficient, it's kinda our thing. But the suggested footprints do provide a pretty intense light level. Higher light levels provide diminishing returns which can be graphed.
