Hey guys,

24 hours have past and these are the results. I didn't resize the pictures after cropping them so you'll be able to zoom in...
I did a count myself and from that I can say there's not a definite value that shows through. On average seven seeds have at least cracked open.

The reference pack. Seven seeds have cracked and/or is showing a tail.

One minute exposure. Eight seeds have cracked and/or is showing a tail.

Five minutes exposure. Six seeds have cracked and/or is showing a tail.

Ten minutes exposure. Seven seeds have cracked and/or is showing a tail.

And lastly, fifteen minutes exposure. Seven seeds have cracked and/or is showing a tail.

I'll update again tomorrow around the same time.

Great work Bob, I expect tomorrow will be more definitive, in the papers I read growth rate was affected and was more noticable in the treated seeds. I look forward to the next 48 hours.

i had a flash of inspiration after seeing your great post..

so i picked 4 more 4yr old seeds.. soaked a tissue with tap water, made a nice thick wet envelope, kept a finger on top for earthing and ran 3 seeds 5-10-15mins, thinking that the soak while been charged might make a difference, yeah, if's, but's and maybe,

Just to clarify that, layer of wet tissue, seeds more wet tissue on top and a finger directly above the seeds touching the wet tissue.
Thinking the charge will travel all across the dampened seed shell in a even manner?

used the old germination dish so the date is wrong... but hey.

Take from this experiment what you want, but for me this concept is busted. I see absolutely no difference in sprout size or anything else.
I'm gonna pick 32 of the pertiest sprouts and sow them in the 3.5L pots...

Yes I did. Took 32 of the best looking seeds and planted them together two per pot.
I sowed them yesterday so it'll probably be another day or so before they start emerging from the soil.
