Hi there @MarshydroTina .
Q. Do Mars Hydro offer custom upgrades for fixtures such as up-gradable diodes or lenses etc.
If not ,will mars hydro be offering these kinds of upgrades in the future, Or would you consider working with customers to achieve a desired upgraded fixture or other lighting options?. Thank you for being here!! ;) better get this in there before the herd comes along haha.
Yes, we would like to working with customers to achieve a desired upgraded fixture. actually, we are working on this. we ask growers feedback often. like our new light, we asked what they want, when the sample comes out, we got some tester to test for us, then tell me where we need to change, then we correct, then test again, we will release until our factory and customers both are happy. so we are very happy if our customers can help us to achieve a upgraded fixture.

Great question Tobe!
With more people starting to play with genetics and start their own breeding programs, it is good to know how lighting affect this!
Yes arty
i need to know it its the most important thing for me if i buy a led. I would test it but i dont want to waste money.

Hey Tina, i got one question.

I got a year old mars II 700(around 2-3months used) which doesn't have veg/bloom switches and just got my new one which has them, now I'm running them side by side and both switches on and my older model is a lot more blue in spectrum than the new one, and it is supposed to be full spectrum..so Please, can you educate me a bit :smoking:

Cheers @arty zan for the invite
We changed the spectrum according some growers advice, we always upgrade our light, we want provide better lights to our customers

I would say if a light can grow good flowers then it would be more than capable of growing good seeds.
One thing that might be useful to you is .... Don't feed to heavily in flower, once you have pollinated you girl, too much ferts will give a very hard seed case, which can be a challenge for the young seedling to break out of!
