Indoor Auto Seeds_Pink Runtz & Acapulco Gold

I think there is scope with a lot of systems, but the main thing I found when I went away for best part of a month was that lack of love, as much as we confess to LITFA, the reality is the majority of us will have a touch up at certain times at the very least - and for me that is what was missing from leaving alone for a while - anyway, try again on Sunday heading out for a week or two :pass:
yeah, can imagine that going away for a month is a bit to much LITFA...Plants grow and need some pruning as well or you end up with a jungle of leaves. Shorter vacations one to two weeks is certainly possible without an issue I guess...
The combo I'm doing now is the easiest I've ever done. I mean, perfect for a continuous grow as I just give plain water and don't have to mix up anything.

Thats perfect Bobs, that has to be the end goal.
It has to be said, once the actual grow is down to autopilot, it frees up a lot of time/effort to tweak and play and introduce controlled variables to find improvements here and there

Hey Man - F&D are good I see you do very well in them, my first ever set up back in the late 90’s was an NFT set up which has similarities, after a hiatus I started again on the Wilma and that has always been my go to when I restart.
The tent issue, so I had one tent with the Wilma then I put up another with a decent rig etc… that was to try out soil and living soil with a blumat dripper system, anyway - one crop down and my partner has asked that I stick to one tent, therefore the new tent will come down tomorrow and I shall be back down to one tent.
I am forever playing around with new bits and bobs and I am pretty certain when I move to a better abode I already have my eyes on the MegaPot system for the 56ltr pots and that once again has similarities to F&D.
keeping a good old eye on yourdiary, there is certainly a simplicity to the approach and that has to be appreciated.
Thanks buddy,
Fortunately… I don’t have anyone here to tell me how much cannabis I can grow or how many tents I can have. My kids are all out of the house and my girlfriend can’t say anything because I supply her daughter with all the weed she needs. Lol :rolleyes1:
Those Mega Pots look like they would work wry well… might need to give one of them a try someday. I use to do a lot of drip hydro but didn’t like the rats nest of tubing everywhere when growing SOG. Drip irrigation was nice when I only had a few plants growing but when I started packing my tents I found that F&D was easier to set up, maintain and water everything.

Thanks m8.. I reckon my chances of success would be around 50/50 lol I wouldn't have room to put the other tent up as well sadly or I'd have absolutely taken you up on your offer of guidance :pighug: I'm soaking your grows up like a sponge in case I get the chance to have a crack at it.
Always here to help bro if your situation changes. Odds would be 100% to your favor.

So then, the ladies from Autoseeds were left to their own devises for 2 weeks. They have not missed a beat, they were left trained and tied with a view to fill out the space in the tent and they did just that.

the AcapulcoGold had a lovely stretch and has bud sites up and down all he main branches. Nice lanky lady - she looks like she will fill out nicely now.

the Pink Runtz has been the more vigorous of the two which is expected, as with the AP she has not missed a beat since the start and has formed into a lovely lady with nice solid branches and bud sites all over the show! She has started showing some colour on the buds but early days still.

Their feed has been notched up to 2.0 and they look like they can take more so will push to 2.2 on next res fill. They are only receiving Bloom A&B, Calmag and yesterday got their first dose of PK9-18.
That’s it for now

take care all

Lovely!! Don't forget to also give them ladies some nitrogen :toke:
Think you are right there Bob, I do keep a little of the Grow nutes going throughout but it seems light this time so will nudge that as well with the next res fill

They're sittin pretty for the bulk up m8.. looking strong and healthy.. lovely job :d5:
thanks Hope - back to the wilma, it's my equivalent to a child's special blanket :pass:
Far too much leaf matter for my liking, they need a serious seeing to - but far too high to get up

Day 48
The stretch seems to be over, I must say they were both very well behaved considering I was not around to ensure they stayed in line, a few stragglers here and there but its all good.

Both the @Autoseeds.com AG and PR are in full flower mode now and are drinking a very healthy amount - after filling up the res a couple of days ago I topped it up with another 19.8litres this morning (random I know - it is the bottle size that my water comes in).
EC is now sitting pretty at 2.2 and I will not increase that, as they seem very happy and the PH changes from 5.8 to 6 over any given res change, I try to do it on purpose I tell myself as I am sure it is nothing other than utter nonsense and Bro-science but I feel I get less visible issues when the PH is allowed some minor variance (once again, my bro science goes along the lines of - various nutrients have their sweet spot when it comes to being made in an available form to be taken in correctly by the root system - therefore in my mind, when it sits at any number for too long you will inadvertently effect what the plant can consume causing issues). There is a chance I will pull the EC back a notch if there are any increased signs of leaf tip burn/yellowing but as I say I am happy where it currently sits as are the ladies.

The PR is putting on some nice new colours and I can see that the colas on this lass are going to be rather large.

She also has a lovely amount of Trichome build up at this stage, long may it continue building

The AG is a lovely plant, very slender, and a lovely green colour - true to her Sativa heritage she really has taken on teh shape of a monster DSativa but in 'mini me' form which works great for grows in tents, her nodal spacing is greater than that of the other plants in teh tent - I am very much looking forward to this beauty.

So far I am liking these two, simple to grow and they are not behaving like current day snowflake teens - the only thin g they want is lots and lots to eat and drink.

Cheerio
