Auto not flowering

Well, after a week at reduced light cycle (18/6), it has what looks like pre flower and has grown another 12”. I remov s some of the bottom growth and a few fan leaves on top. Should I start using bloom nutes? I only have about 12” left for it to grow vertically before it starts getting too close to the light. Should I top them to keep them in check? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Damn dude... your really packed in...that's tight now... can't imagine what its gonna look like in a month.

Topping usually stops the main, but you get much more growth on the satellites. And well... your stuffed. If you had more room I'd say tie her over, but that doesn't look like an option either.

When I've hit this issue... I run one or two outside! I can see that's not an option either!

Update! Well, they are doing great but are starting to grow into the lights (apx. 37”). I had to top them when they got to 40”. Will they grow much more while in flower? Should I take off more?

Get a taller tent
Autos can get huge in dwc
My 9ft tent is usually too short.
Topping and training can't prevent some strains from ttc growing into lights.

I should have grew a different strain. I thought the Liniage Grapefruit would be shorter inside but the conditions were too good! I’m getting great growth with the Black Dog PhytoMAX 2-200 and A.N. nutrients. Oh well, lesson learned. I really want to try Mephisto auto flowering seeds next time in sea of green. Thanks for the feedback!
