So happy I got pointed to this grow !

got Mazar also that I am waiting to put in bubbling buckets, what types of LED and watt are you using ?

really wanna see how big your Mazar gets because my grow space is 60 cm deep, 100 cm wide and 110 cm on the height

Still wondering if I should dare to start with two or just a single plant

couple of changes in both buckets this week

ec 2.0 ph 5.8

basically what im doing is increasing their pk in pre flower stretch cause you always get the 1st 2 weeks of serious growth before the plants top out, what I aim to do is boost the plants early with pk to encourage faster bud development and hopefully slow down their stretch,

was thinking about keeping my ec at a steady 1.8-2.0 ec and just switching my ratios to make for higher pk bloom feed, either way its something to think about

doing the daily check on the plants and noticed the plant on the right has developed a bit of a rash overnight......

pretty obvious from those pics its a calcium def which may also lead into mag def so no fuking around ive got a fresh res bubbling and im gonna mix a basic feed of micro - grow - bloom just to put things back to a steady ratio and ive also reduced the wattage on the light which I believe has something to do with the cal/mag issue, the plant does look healthy overall so lets try and recover her :smoke:

the other plant looks great the only difference is she is under a different light, Im gonna switch the plants over see what happens


I filled both buckets back up to level and they have consumed......

so both are feeding strongly but just shows how fast things can happen in hydro

update...

the sick looking plant got switched back to a basic feed and put under the 186x pro and things are looking pretty different

also on her res change I noticed the roots have transformed into some insane crazy feeder root frenzy

525 nm GREEN


The Illumitex 525nm wavelength LED can be used as a tool for eliciting specific plant responses such as stomatal control, phototropism, photomorphogenic growth and environmental signaling. When combined with blue, red and far-red wavelengths, 525nm completes a comprehensive spectral treatment for understanding plant physiological activity.

Hydrogrow have changed their spectrum to include 525nm LED's in their new units! I'm not sure this is a good thing?

570nm (Yellow) is a constant in LPS lights and 590nm (Orange) has unknown value.

yeah bro there is definatly reds in there just not as many due to being replaced by the green diodes as mikey b explains above


I always turn the light down for photos but here are a couple of shots with the light at full power, the 1 light alone isn't enough to cover my entire grow space

both plants have had fresh res changes at 2.0 ec ph 5.8

the only thing that's changed is ive added pk 13/14 @ 6ml per res
