the AHKs are getting close to harvest day. they are still swelling up and the leaves are showing damage from the flush which is good. The foxtails get more prominent each day thoughout both ladies, AHK#1 is puting on more purple slowly, at harvest there will still be places where there s no purple but other places will be very colorful. AHK#2 looks like its made a good number of seeds as the pregnant branch is the largest in diameter on the whole plant. when I pollenated this branch it was the third largest. These two ladies will be harvested within three days. The test bud dried to b extremely dense and makes a nice solid sound when dropped onto a plate. the stone form her is very potent and quite narcotic in nature, definitly not one to smoke if you have to be active shortly after, but very good for relaxing and for before bed. the taste is somewhat sweet with a spicy hash overtone. I cant wait to see what shes like finished and after a proper cure.
The Il Diavolo has completely changed its aroma throughout its cure so far, the moisture level in the jars is in the high 60's and slowly dropping. The buds in the jars look like they are completely covered in light brown sugar. they still have thier sweet flavor, but thier aroma continues to evolve throughout cure.
the biggest lesson I have learned at the end of this grow with my setup is that I need to hang my LED about 6 inches higher above my plants than I had it placed this past grow, especially during the veg stage and early bloom.
