Auto Hacks & Tips

Even on feeding days? I ask because I was always watering/ceeding untill at least 10% runoff, And I stopped, And problems started.. But I fckd few more things So I'm trying to figure it out now, whats the main cause of my problems...
Are you in soil or coco from what I hear im thinking soil. If so whats your medium? Fox farm, promix, black gold, etc. And what nutes you using? Most likely nute lockout from the buildup of the salts and stuff from old nutrients. I always flushed my soil half way through the grow to prevent it. But like Arthur said ph is very important. Whats your soil ph and the ph of the water your using? And far as your question on runoff you always want at least 10 % runoff when growing. The runoff helps wash out leftover nutrients from the last feeding without runoff your just adding more and more nutrients and the plant can burn or give you a multitude of deficiencies and toxicities.

Yeah you giot that right..I'm growing in soil and used this SOIL but I dont use it regularly, usually I use pot ground h70 klassmandellman), itz says ph is 5.00-7.00.. My tap water uis 8.6 and im Using Ph perfect AN nutes.. Never had any problmes since now, but again I have never only feed, feed, feed, without run off.. I see my mistakes now..But they are too late in flower so I doubt that I can make it better..

Im not familiar with that soil i used black gold organic or fox farms 50% happy frog 50% ocean forest and added perilte and my ph was dead on. Unfortunately problems with soil grows are very hard to correct and even harder when growing autossince time is the enemy. If its late in flower and you worried about it hurting your crop you can try to force her to finish quicker by lowering night time temps a bit and changing ligjt cycle to 12 12. Even though its a auto this will help encourage her to horry up and finish ive done it b4. Im on a well and my ph is about the same and I treat the water with ph down before I use the ph perfect sensi nutes. I know it says ph perfect but thats not exactly true unless your using RO water. But it gets it pretty close. But im also a bit OCD with my plants so thats just me.

Whats OCD?? I dont wanna play with ph- coz I did that once and got Immediatky shitload of problems..I noticed that AN on 50% strengh do the Ph perfect job quite right . I dont think they are hurting too much So I will let them finish to the end. My second mystery is why all of them stayed so damn short..But that is problem I will try to figure it out next grow, when I find place for it.

I manage to "drop the ball" for just about every grow. I might forget to ph a plant, or I might get a ppm wrong cause I wasn't paying attention. Yeah, it's frustrating.

Am I understanding that you don't pH? And are trusting that pH perfect?

After a couple decades of this, you want any and every # that you can record. If things go sideways you have a path to follow to an answer.

Other than that it's just a shotgun approach. Are deficiencies deficiencies? Or pH lock out?

With fresh soil on a 90 day grow, mine starts at 6.5 tested, but if I just water along... at about day 45, the soil pH has dropped into the mid 5's due to peat moss breakdown. Major deficiencies... so a mid grow flush with the appropriate buffers is necessary.

Not knockin the style, have known many a grower that has been lucky.
But that's what it is luck.

Yeep you understand it good.. I checked in beggining it was good,I even mesuared how much of lime acid do I need for 6.5 so I ditched my ph pen.. :(

I DIDNT know that about soil ph droppi even If you give it corrected ph water..

Half of my dumb ass moves was drivem my expiriences and M.O of obvious lucky people.. Now I feel real dumb..

And yes From Now I'm documenting every move I make in my growing, from watering feeding till distance of my light from canopy.. i keep them around 70cm from canopy

If your growing cannabis you need to monitor your ph and leave very little room for error and like arthur said again its gonna be a crapshoot trying to diagnose problems that arise. And plants might be short from to much light or could just be genetic.

I think its too mzuch light coz This one I had under full light,s and 24 carat before them was under single cob and got 3x bigger

Easiest way to tell is if your leaves are starting to taco or canoe on the top and it will slow your overall growth. I had this issue with my COB leds being to close and some plants are more sensative to light than others. LED also has IR light wich can damage the plant if they are to close. The IR is great for later flowering for bud density and help promote cannaboids but can hurt them in veg. And early flower if your not carefull. I still have to tell myself less is more somtimes.
