I wouldn't worry too much about the odd bit of leaf damage here and there. The overall picture looks OK and hopefully the plants will grow through it. It might be worth checking out your local garden centre for any 'bug-off' style sprays just to keep on top of the pests, but with outdoor growing it is just part and parcel of the challenge. One idea might be to get some copper tape to put around the pots just to keep snails etc off.
Are the plants rooted into the ground (ir bottom of plant pot 'sliced off' or are you having to water regularly?
it will be great to see how you get on with the AFD outdoors, good luck with the rest of it
