Auto doesnt seen to want to grow any taller help

Imo, it's tough to say for sure what the issue is.. I've kept autos in solo cups until they sex and havent had issues with stunting.. Well, definitely not to this degree. I feel like if there was an issue in the solo cup, it would start at the bottom of the plant. If it was hungry, or needed more root space, it would have started feeding on the cotyledon and lower leaves. And those are perfectly green.. Even dark green. The yellowing is starting with the new growth.. And is starting on the outer part of the leaf and is moving inward. It looks a lot like a sulfur issue.. Perhaps a lockout..

I'd like to hear more about the use of Cal mag for an iron issue. That may have caused a lock out. Aslo, no ph levels were mentioned in your description so that could be a culprit as well.

Im not one to kill off plants.. Especially as a new grower. Sure, plant another seed and try again, but keep this one around for a while and learn from it. Try to correct it, see how it responds. Experience is the best teacher. Here are a couple of tools that helped me when I first started learning..

This is for help understanding nutrient lock out. And how too much of one nutrient can lock out others...

Given that your called Autoscouse I’m guessing you’re in the U.K. I am too and my tap water ph is about 8.2 which would limit nute uptake of almost everything important. I ph all my watering and feeds to 6.7/6.8 using lemon juice (just the stuff you’d put on pancakes). I’m a newbie, just starting my third grow, but my previous 2 grows went almost perfectly (feel free to check out my grow journals to see how they went). I started using a cheap £15 ph pen from amazon for my first grow, but it would need recalibration almost weekly, so upgraded to an Apera PH20 - it’s been perfect at staying calibrated so far. I just do a random check every couple of weeks to be sure.
