i have been working with a dutch nutrient producer over the past two months in some detail. I won't mention the name as i don't want to advertise on your thread king ganjamoto. I will say his recommendations have been unorthodox but i have had very positive results so far. He is of the opinion that bud rot in cannabis is not so much from high humidity as it is from deficiencies in the cannabis plant itself. He recommended twice weekly foliar feedings of their blend of cal/mag at the beginning of flowering all the way to the end. Spraying buds and leaves. I thought this was the absolute craziest advice i had ever heard but he was supplying me with free nutrients so i promised to follow his recommendations. I have completed two grows doing that and have yet to see any signs of bud rot and i saturate the buds. Literally spray them until they are dripping with the solution. I am not recommending it but i will say it was worked wonders for me. I attribute the explosive growth on the 16oz comp plant to this foliar feeding. I don't understand the science behind it but i thought i would pass this bit of info along. You may want to ask dutch pro about it and see what they say.

Everyone.... Read the above and read it again and again and again...

Well, like I said originally, I do not advocate this with just any nutrient line. I know for a fact there are surfactants in the line I am using and would not recommend it at all without contacting your nutrient supplier prior and asking there opinion. Every nutrient line is different and is intended to be used as recommended. I also would never recommend this to a novice grower.

I used a lot of surfactants in S Texas, this would be worth a read. Does it have a Am Nitrate spike to it?

It seems that bud rot has been very prevalent in the last few months.... I know that in my room I had been a "BIT" negligent in the cleaning, but if there is a way to prevent it.... I hope that you are on to something A4

King!!!!! your ladies are some of the most awesomely hung ladies I have ever seen in the auto world!!!!(Only these ladies can be hung) +REP

Mid week update...

As usual just routine maintenance, keeping as follows

pH 5.9
EC 2.6-2.8

The EC has been rising as high as 3.6+ for the AM ladies when at the end of the light period, no ill effects seen.

To each tank was added:

On Monday 5 ml each of Canna Mono Calcium and magnesium

On Wednesday 20ml Dutch Pro Explode.

Daily maintenance involves topping up of water levels and keeping EC and pH within required range usually done twice daily

Plasma light has been removed and replaced with Gavita Pro 600w HPS to increase temperature and drop humidity further

Temperature at plant tops approx 35C and humidity around 40%

The ladies are getting lights off for 1 hour per day and are beginning to look a little tired.

Anyway on with the photo show...
