I just turn a spare pot upside down as they get bigger remove the pot or i use my old video tapes stacked up. Every 6" doubles light intensity.
Getting them closer increases yields and stops the bud running for some nice fat cola's

I got my lights mounted on a pulley system. I can crank em up and down with a boat winch. I decided I just had to install an easy way to raise and lower lights. So glad I did the conversion.

I've had good success with the nirvana short riders and blue mystics they both seem to auto fine if you keep them happy stress them out and you in for trouble! The seeds are about a year old now so are maybe from the batch before the problems???

I'm kinda glad of the light stretch otherwise i would have ended up with seriously midget plants and there isn't a massive space between nodes if they had't stretch i reckon the blue mystic wouldn't have got past 6 inch tall. I need to work a way of lowering the lighting when plants are small i have the lights mounted to the cab ceiling to give max grow space. I could use a table or box to raise the plants but haven't got anything suitable so i thought i'd just leave them to grow.

I'm gonna get a small table made up or something similar to get them closer to the lights i think i'm gonna redesign the cab again soon with adjustable height led lighting. Then i should be able to get more light in there with less heat.
Here are some pics of the girls from today they had a feed of about 2.5 litres each of 2ml per litre oldtimer bloom ph 6.5.

Sorry for the lack of updates been quite busy lately haven't had time the blue mystic is fully flowering just has one main cola and no side branching whereas the chronic ryder is just hitting full flower and is quite nice and bushy and considerably more bud sites and growth.

Hi everyone been busy again so its been a week since the last update the girls are coming along nicely the blue mystic is going to finish earlier than the chronic ryder. Haven't had a single cola pheno from that pack before not sure if i like it very impressed with the chronic ryder though.
Both plants were beginning to show signs of a magnesium defficiency which happens to most of my plants so i've added some epsom salts to their last feed of 2ml per litre oldtimer bloom.
After an age of research finally cracked why i have problems with magnesium even though i have hard water my water supply has virtually no magnesium in so most feeds under supply mag. Gonna supplement mag from now and hopefully won't have this problem again
