Yeh plant magic nutes oldtimer grow and bloom with catalyst and bio silicon as additives my main problem in grows isn't the nutes but the serious ph drift my water has i aim for 6.5 but struggle to keep above 6.2 i'm gonna go hydro soon so i can adjust the ph of the grow more easily.
Thanks for dropping in people
Lookin really nice, what Day are those?
Honestly I never PH balance. I let the Micro beasties balance as they see fit. It usually sits 7.3 top and around 7 mid soil. My meter doesn't hit the bottom so I have no idea lol....
Thanks for the input guys i've only been using plant magic for this grow and the last few weeks of my last grow so not got full experience of it yet but one plant from the last is still struggling with ph lock out. I monitor well enough to keep it under control at the moment i'm still gonna grow a few soil side projects when i go hydro might even keep doing just autos in soil.
Heres an update on the girls
This pictures a bit blurry but it shows how much bigger the chronic ryder is gonna be than the blue mystic. The mystic is budding nicely and has got offset nodes so is almost finished growing where as the chronic is not budding just preflowers and all the nodes are still stacked equally so she's still got fair bit to go yet.
Blue Mystic
Chronic Ryder
These are coming along nicely i'm gonna give them another feed tomorrow gonna stick with the grow feed until the chronic ryder gets a bit further into flower she's gonna yield a fair bit more than the blue mystic by the looks of things:booya:
I grew some Blue Mystic about a year ago. My wife really liked the pot. I did but not as much. I tried to order seeds afterwards but was told the Blue Mystic had trouble failing to auto. I guess this is a new batch of seeds and they look to be doing the auto thing just fine.
there not on nirvanas main web site so i would avoid them or get the blue himlayas/bluestreak but they have short ryders and auto northern fems so those are the only one i would touch from nirvana
I've had good success with the nirvana short riders and blue mystics they both seem to auto fine if you keep them happy stress them out and you in for trouble! The seeds are about a year old now so are maybe from the batch before the problems???
I'm kinda glad of the light stretch otherwise i would have ended up with seriously midget plants and there isn't a massive space between nodes if they had't stretch i reckon the blue mystic wouldn't have got past 6 inch tall. I need to work a way of lowering the lighting when plants are small i have the lights mounted to the cab ceiling to give max grow space. I could use a table or box to raise the plants but haven't got anything suitable so i thought i'd just leave them to grow.
