New Grower Auto Berry Feminized first auto indoor grow for an old gardner...

Hi Rhyce, welcome to AFN. Can't answer your question regarding worms but the plants are looking good and sounds like a nice setup. Autos are typically cal/mag hogs in particular when growing under LEDs I would be giving it with each watering. You may also want to consider a soil type pH probe to your equipment list. I know some organic growers don't worry about pH but it may be of help while you get your soil dialed in.

I grew Autoberry 2 years ago and it is one of my favorites. Best yielding autoflower I have grown and also one of the strongest. H

I'm listening olds... Tested my soil ph today. Sweet! 7.0

Hi Rhyce,

Don't know if you already of one of these for MJ but thought I would post for you

Lunchtime bake-off with the ladies...

Mmmm... I found a stash of King Louis today and decided to go to the chamber, check in on the girls and do up some Louis :Hookah:

Checked my tea and she's ripe and effervescent, not your average drinking water anymore... Bacteria soup! Damn. I couldn't wait to let it drip so I had to give the girls a sip.

Drink up ladies!

Day 26 - Rhyce Saroni visits the ladies..

The real Rhyce Saroni is a cat and I took him along for tonight's visit to the garden. It's really therapeutic to sit there for an hour with the lights on during these loooong winter nights. That and a good bake off and I'm on cloud nine! So long seasonal affective disorder!

Anyway, the girls are looking real good. I named a couple of my fav's, the Mango and of course the mutant.

Ok, vaped some Girl Scout Cookies and got inspired so I figured I'd do an update! These little babies have really started to take off. I guess this would be the beginning of full on vegetative stage. I'm expecting that these will 'take off' from what I've seen of others examples. The soil felt perfect and showed some real good signs of bio-organism development or as I like to call it 'live soil'.

I'm thinking of putting a couple of worms in each pot to aid in oxygenation and fertilization of the soil. I've had great luck with this in the garden and thought I'd try it here. Anybody else do this?

Oh yeah. One of my Auto Berry's is a mutant. It'll be interesting to watch this one grow. I'm calling it my Mutant Teenage Ninja plant.TaNg's ThangView attachment 418577...

Here are some more of the others. It's hard to tell the Mango from the Berry's.

That's all for now, Rhyce :Smoke no Evil:

Hey Rhyce, very nice man ! Re worms in pots. I was just thinking about it the other day but wondering how many to get. You mention you have had success with worms im pots, do you know how many per gallon / /litre ? Oh and why is one called "Dropsy" did you drop the pot ? lol. Good luck man :peace:

Vas, thanks for the compliment. So far I've managed not to F up things too badly. :Brain Fog..:It is all I can do to NOT overdo something.

Anyway about the worms (red earthworms not nightcrawlers). After running the idea around, the consensus of opinion is that a 2-3 per plant might be ok, if you are growing organic. However after pondering this possibility, I've decided to hold off on this as at least one of my organic nute solutions has worm castings in the mix. So rather than introduce yet ANOTHER variable in the mix, I figured for this moment at least, I'll leave well enough alone...

I put a few in a pot with real rich soil in it (below) this past summer and when I went to pull out a weed that had grown in with the begonia, there were about 30! If they're real happy, they are going to multiply like crazy.

The soil was alive... In an indoor situation, this might be a real pain in the keester.

Ah yes, "Dropsy" earned her name due to an unfortunate slip of the hand when I was carefully peeling off the peat pot I'd started it in (so as not to disturb a single root for fear of stunting the thing). It was the last one and I was in a little of a hurry to finish by that point and fumbled it, dropping her two feet to the floor and unsettling the dirt and root ball.

Next time my babies are going directly into the big pot after germination or a plug that allows long tap roots at least. Here is what the novice did before he'd read everything on this site.

Chica has lifted her skirt...

Just showed her sex today. Day 28. She was the last to emerge from the soil so I think she is going to be a shorter than average girl. Hmmmm, last out of the oven and first to pop! You earned your name Chica! Now all I need is for Roxanne to turn on the red light...
