Sawney Beans Day 1
What better way to start october than a little Sawney Beans?

All 4 seeds popped, and the tap root is already out the bottom of three of them. I turned the flood on; it floods just to the bottom of the net pot. I cut out some neoprene collars to fit around the root riots. About 250ppm Megacrop 1 part with 100ppm calimagic, flooding every hour, I'll check it later today and make sure I'm not drowning them.

Day 34. A couple look like doodie. Took a peek at the roots, little brown at the bottom(along the oldest roots) on some, didn't seem slimey, res looks clean, but the table looks dirty. I blasted them with h2o2(30% @ 6ml/gal), and I'll dump the res and clean the table tomorrow.

This Cyttorak near the back center looks the worst.

Day 7 for our Sawney Beans. No sign of roots out the bottom of the nets yet. Hellraiser, Lecter and Blue Moon looking good. Predator, not so good.

And the photoperiod Slurriking never rose up. I cracked open the root riot and it did germ. I may plant another photo or stick an auto in the pot o dirt.

It may help to spray feed the seedlings mate.
I spray my plants with orgatrex or formulex when small . If the roots ain't accessing the food it will help to feed the leaves .

Midweek update. Table doing fine. Roots looking good, probably the last root pic, the lids getting heavy. Cleaned the reservoirs finally. 400ppm Megacrop A with 100ppm calimagic on the big table, 400ppm Megacrop 1 part and 100ppm calimagic on the small table.

Day 40 on the big table.

Poison bear showing some color.

Sawney beans looking okay. Day 10 now. May be low humidity(50ish) causing them to droop a bit. Roots look to be coming in good, but still nothing below the net pots.

1010240912.jpg

Hellraiser very light.

Predator doesn't look much worse.

Little droopy on the other 2.

More root growth above the flood line. Floods about an eighth to quarter inch into the net pots.

Think I'll just mix up some soil for the next grow. Maybe buy some soil. I want to try the build a soil 3.0 and light soil, they carry it at my "local" hydro store so I may just pick some of those up once the big table finishes. Maybe a kiddie pool full of perlite for a wick bed so I dont have to water them.

Day 13 on our Sawney Beans. All showing some issues, No roots out the bottom yet. Top watered them incase it's salt buildup in the root riots. Might swap from megacrop 1 part to the 2 part and see if that helps any, already increased the calmag to 200ppm, shouldn't need more than that. Maybe blast them with h2o2 as well.

Hellraiser very light

Day 59 on the 3'x3' table. Day 29 for the Sawney Beans. Still just leaving them alone. Plan to change both reservoirs later, mixing up around 400ppm part A for both with 100ppm calimagic.

Had to supercrop one of the poison bears, she stretched up and was getting no light to some of the bud sites.
