So all done now. Did simmer in a water bath for 20 minutes to help clear some of the booze. Strained and mixed with the same amount again of weed infused honey that I made yesterday but didn’t decarb cos I’m an idiot.
Shaken, stirred & covered in muslin with a paper bag overcoat. Sat on the windowsill watching the world go by....

The more you shake and/or stir the honey, the better it will mix and I think it helps evaporate the alcohol out.
{ I put a lid on and shake probably 15 to 20 times a day when I make mine. I wait to take the lid off til it drains off, then put the cheese cloth cover back on. As soon as it separates, I'll do it again. }
@bobsimm123 if you are worried about the smell, foil and the roasting bag work great! But wait til it is completely cooled before you open.
Depends on how much THCa is in the material you are using and if you decarb it.
To be considered Hemp, there can only be .3% THCa in the sample.
High CBD strains can have a higher %THCa than hemp, but has a much higher % of CBDa.
Most people want to decarb their cannabis, not just to get high, but to "activate" the cannabinoids.
It gets confusing because if you don't decarb, your liver will (kind of).
