What I did was to top up with just water and gradually reduce EC, then after taking my first harvest, when I decided I was gonna let them go another week or so, I gave them a 25% strength shot of Canna Aqua Flores just to bring EC up a tad and delay yellowing for a cpl more days. The lower buds visibly swelled and hardened a lot during this time so I am certain my yield benefitted greatly from it. Taste doesnt seem to have been affected and the buds smoke down to a "healthy" white ash. After a good long cure im sure you wont notice much, if any, diff between the tastes of the two crops. It sounds like you have everything well dialed in and im sure this girl will yield big for you. I think I used my own shot of pk13/14 too early for one or two of the plants. Wait another week or two until you have some spiralled clusters of flowers forming up the stems then give her her dose

that's pretty ingenious. did you come up with that or is it a commonly known method to fatten 'popcorn' buds? i wonder if it affects the thc/cbd at all.

she's started showing some yellowing in her leaves recently. not sure if it was from the leds close distance or something else. she's got a lot of bud potential (in my novice opinion) and has started to produce more sugar on her leaves in the past 24 hours. she's also grown another inch, so i raised the lights about the same. the two little think diffs seem to be loving the chrome led too. as always any advice is welcome!

the td looks spot on, i think their is a pheno mixed in that will take longer to grow, i had the pheno that was finished in 75 days but obviously a few other people have had this exact pheno that your growing

if she is still growing upwards and outwards then you still have full floral stage to go which should last another 4 - 5 weeks but dont start counting untill she has stopped stretching, obviously the end reward will be phenominal if you just stick it out

i didnt see any mention of what your feeding her or the ec and ph you have her on, if i were you id try and keep her above 5.8 - 6.1 for the rest of the grow as this will make phosphorus and magnesium available to her

i have an old school penetrator and it does produce some nice buds so fingers crossed for you pal :thumbs:

Hay gbd has your penetrator got the 1w chips? If so why not use that as the veg light and use your Chrome in the flower room? Or is it the veg version? I know the new Chrome kicks out some serious PAR and has a good footprint.

gbd how many lights is in there .....i wanna grow led for my next run but they seem to be a bit high since ive already invested in some T5 lighting ......found a good 400 hps with both bulbs for 250....but the led is kooler i think ......can u run florescent with led cause i can get a nice led for around 40 on ebay ....Opinions

she does appear to still be growing up and outward, and i'm in it for the long haul. can't wait to see what she puts out. my current res is as follows:
rhizo- 30ml
silica- 20ml
cal/mg- 20ml
carbo load- 16ml
superior potash- 12ml
vega 'a' + 'b' - 20ml/each

total EC/PPM of 752 and i've been doing my best to keep ph between 5.8-6.0. not sure if the ratios are right, or if i would benefit from rearranging them.

i got the hydrogrows, TDs, and buckets all after watching you. you really should be reimbursed by the companies for your excellent advertising.

the penetrators are 1w models. i keep hearing that the chrome has a crazy PAR output, but i never get any actual information about it, even from gotham hydro. all the chinese manufacturers (even igrowleduk) that make modular leds state that their par is around 552.4 at 12", which is way less than the hydrogrows. i know the hydrogrow and og blackstar are tried and true, so i'm using them on the big one. maybe i will still switch them.
