The only way those lights will work is if you have the right music playin while using...past that you never know what your plant really likes...so best bet is to get a Blackstar or some other Grow Led...

how many plants can a 240 cover..or what hid do they equal up to i heard a 6oo watt...

a blackstar 240 is about equivalent to 166 Watts HID... or 6 blackstar 240's equals 1000 HPS
