New Grower Are 8 weeks auto strains TRUE???

How does the nute cycle increase decrease work when you dont use bloom nutes or veg nutes but just use salt npk mix that starts low and goes high?

Im a 2p mc user i mix pk and calnit
All the way thrubstart 2.5g/2.5g and work to 4.2/1.8.

So i dont swap to bloom nutes but increase it all then drop nitrogen at end.

So gow wil seed pack read on me?
Im loomin to get plants finnishing in 9 week. Some sem to go wreks over some. 1 wrk under lol

Not many finish in 8 or 9 weeks, although a few can. And even those that could be chopped at 9 weeks will benefit from an extra 1-3 weeks. Don't be in a hurry, you'll get better bud by being patient. I try to give all autos 70 days minimum.

Unless it say 8 weeks from seed to flower, it mean 8 weeks flowering time. VERY few autos will finish in 8 weeks. 60 days is the fastest I've seen and that usually is only from 1 or 2 out of 10. most autos need a minimum of 70 days. And Amnesia? that's an 80-100 day strain more often than not as it's mostly Sativa

Look at it this way, if they were good strains of autos that could go from seed to harvest in 8 weeks, every major grow op would be pumping them out like crazy if the could get 6 crops a year!

View attachment 423299View attachment 423300These are my 21 days Amnesia Haze and pic 2 Vast and fast auto growing under 100w cfl each for the time being. They are really underdeveloped for 8 weeks from seed to crop strain. I heard that what seed companies say is misleading and that 8 weeks start from the time the first preflowers show up meaning in 30 days from seed. Is this right or have I done something? I ve done nothing else to stress them than transplanting them the second week. Please any help is most welcomed:DragonSmoke:

Switching nutrients has absolutely nothing to do with triggering the flowering cycle, this is nothing more than a myth created by nutrient companies.

And some people grow start to finish with just "bloom nutes".

Autos can finish in the specified breeder times. but you would have to switch from growth nutes to bloom nutes, right when you see pistils....which should be any day now for your girls. But if you dont need to keep the plants small or need them to finish early, don't make the switch to bloom nutes until all upward growth comes to a stop..which is about 2-3 weeks after you see the first pistils. If I'd done that on this grow, i'd'v'e lost out on a solid 10", so that extra growth will give me that much more bud.

EDIT:
and now that im really lookin at the pictures, i wanna say i see what could be a bit of nute burn? Don't quote me though, im sure someone else will come along...

feed start to finish at 1 ppm level nutrient "schedules" are pretty meaningless, plants take in what they want when they want it, just look at an organically grown plant,

Well, here's another myth I can dispell for you. The water on the leaf does not act like a magnifying glass nor is the light source powerful enough to cause a burn through magnification. Thgis has been disproven by science.

hey thanks for commenting. well this is not nutrient burn it was made by water that remained on the leaves while the cfl was close. So what shall I do just wait? they are not even 10 inches tall they cant finish in 60 days its impossible they are babies.

I can work that. I got a big t4 4fter for cuts but its sitting there to warm my flowet tent atm. Lights on so saw here some autos under t5 shocked.

So gona fill the space with autos. Can get 6 pots there and wil start 2 every 3 weeks
Done. Ita justa fun room. Its 140cmx60cm and 120cm tall.

What strains dya reccomend i try that wil fit in here and stil yield ok? 70odd dayers

My suggestion would be to roll a fatty and brew some coffee and take a read of the autoflower strain reviews section on this site. Many reviews of various strains grown in many environments and you can make a list of likely strains that will work in your situation, eh?
