We got slammed with a snow storm this morning, and could get another foot or more.

@Dmrides220 , the cup looks great! The main idea is to have enough surface texture to keep the roots from circling. when that happens, you can get an effect known as girdling, and the plant basically chokes itself to death.

I've been thinking about a hydro solo cup comparative grow...

First, I thought about doing what you did and putting that in a tank. But then I thought it was cheating, so I'm thinking about putting a small bubbler inside the cup and really use it as the growing container.

Anyone up to the challenge?

Lol I'm really hoping this helps. I've never grown in a solo cup but I've had plenty of shitty results growing in a regular plastic pot and I told myself I wouldn't do that again.

As long as the majority of the root mass stays in the cup, feel free to jump right in!
A micro hydro would be awesome! You'll need to find a staff member to head it up, but I bet they'll be lining up for it!
