Yep, especially because I'll be gone. They'll be hanging in their own individual cardboard boxes.

I'm almost tempted to snip the top buds and then let the lowers keep going while I'm gone.

Good thought. IMHO the seeds should be ready. But its been a LONG time since I seeded. Have a safe trip.

If you are unsure if seeds will be ready, why not leave them as they are with some water to last a couple days? They can mature in the plant inside their seedpods. The plant will die from lack of water, but it the same ending as chopping them only leaving the seeds to mature a couple days (or week) longer. Either way, good luck. I got more seeds then expected from the whole plant pollination I did with my little Stone Dragon.

Yeah, I'm going to chop the top bud on each of them and leave the base buds (which were deliberately pollinated) for a while longer. I'm almost out of SD seeds and that is pretty unacceptable.

That way I'll be able to evaluate the condition of the few seeds in the main bud and see how close I am. Plus I'll get enough SD and PN to load a few bowls - and that's why we're here right?
