It was a beautiful plant, but it was pretty small. We shall see I guess

Stone Dragon and Purple Nugget day 65, day 29 since they were pollinated. There are some seeds under there, but there's also a fair bit of unseeded bud as well.

The absolute earliest I could pick seeds will be in two weeks, but I'll probably let them go 85+ just to be sure I get big mature beans.

So, I let my Stone Dragon seeded plant go 60 days (8+ weeks) from pollination, and the seeds are just small. I have to compare them with the ones that I purchased from Stone to see them comparatively, but they are much smaller then the Stone Dragon x Sweet Sour seeds I am currently seeing. The SD x SS seeds are big tiger striped seeds. I guess that genetics also play a part in the size of seeds as well. As for viability, won't know just how viable the seeds are until end of June or July as I have read they need proper time to dry and cure.

Well, I will probably let them go until the plant is well past its prime if the seeds are not growing well. As much as I'd like to salvage the bud - I have plenty of full jars right now and the seed is way more important to me.

Definitely starting to finish. I'll be leaving for an 8 day work trip on the 14th, so the night before will be the last day for them. That will be 45 days since they were pollinated, hopefully it will be enough.

They'll hang for 8 days then I'll start picking out some seeds. Hopefully I'll get a nice amber smoke or two out of them.

Be sure to hang them so you can catch any seed that decides to fall. And separate seed catchers so you will know one from the other.

Yep, especially because I'll be gone. They'll be hanging in their own individual cardboard boxes.

I'm almost tempted to snip the top buds and then let the lowers keep going while I'm gone.
