Thanks, yeah that's one of the ways I took from his explanations. What throws me off is on one of the videos he says he does the 444 mix in the coco, then a mix of the 444 and 394 at 4 weeks of flowering as a top dressing, which 4 weeks of flowering isn't counting how many weeks he vegged for so thats much longer than 3 weeks. He mentions it's the first feeding since day 1.

Then 1 more top dressing at a later time, and those were all he fed. That being only 2 top dressing feedings through the entire grow, the other method would have more than 2 top dressing feedings.

@Snufaluffagus Has it right. He mixes the 1st feeding in the medium and then 3 more total.

I want to do his grow as well. So easy; however, I cant seem to resist all the other stuff. Kind of silly actually. He obviously appreciates quality flower and seems very satisfied with his product. I must have 20 ammendments on my shelf.

For a long time he said 6.5-6.8 but semi recently changed to saying 6.0-6.5. First grow I stayed around 6.4-6.7 and had some issues as well but I underfed for my scenario too.

I'm on day 23 of the second grow and have been staying between 6.1 and 6.4 with much better results so far.

He did change it up and watching his videos out of order can mess with your head.

What ph is everyone using with the dry amendments in coco and perlite I’m running into some issues I think it’s ph related be great to get a straight answer as no one actually knows it seems! Cheers guys

I'm shooting for 6.2-6.3, as I found the pH drifting up on my last grow. Just want to be sure I'm in the right range this time.

Are you using organic dry amendments in coco for this Mephisto grow? Curious because I’m about to attempt the same, probably different strain but same genetic breeder.

I watched him when i started but quickly replaced him with mr grow it and buildasoil, mr canucks's voice makes it seem like he is bragging and no1 likes a nasally sounding show boat. i like how calm mr grow sounds and Jeremy from buildasoil is freaking amazing with the info he puts out.

Do you use coco/perlite with organic dry amendments as well? & what’s everyone using to ph there water with? I have gen hydro up & down is this okay for organic cannabis?

i add a ton of perlite, half a 2cu bag goes into my 30 gallon mix. i use gen hydro up and down, only used down tho lol my water is 8.1ph and rain water is 6.6 or so, never need up.

I make my own rules for my organic :smoking: i just wanted a super soil more so over organic, it just worked out that 95% of it is organic lol I'll include a pic of the items i used with my mix.

Anyone who doesn't think his method works is straight up WRONG.

I grow EXACTLY to his schedule but with (because I'm in the USA)
AUTOFLOWER INITIAL MIX
Bush Doctor Coco Loco
Dr Earth All Purpose 60%
Dr Earth Veg (because 444 doesn't have Calcium) 30%
Dr Earth Flower Girl 10%
2 cups earthworm castings

Plant my seeds....first 2-3 weeks pH water only at 6.3-6.7

FIRST TOPDRESS (~week 3)
50% All Purpose
10% Veg
40% Flower Girl

During weeks 3-5
Water with 1 tplspn Molasses every other day.

One week after 1st Topdress give tea
Worm poo, alfalfa, kelp, bat guano, molasses

Week 6'ish Final Top Dress
20% All Purpose 444
70% Flower Girl

Week 7 Final Compost Tea
Small Amount Flower Girl
Same Tea Ingredients

Week 8+
Depending on how much longer they have, I'll either begin flush process, or, if they have more than 2 weeks, I'll give them one more light tea. Then begin flushing for about 10 days.

EVERYONE is different!!!! Adjust this recipe based on your plants needs, pH, growth rate, etc.

YES, COCO+DRY AMENDMENTS WORK!!!!

I promise it's easy. Just keep an eye on your little gals n feed, adjust as needed.

Every AUTOFLOWER plant I grow has MIN. of 1.5 ounces yield.

I've been watching this guy and can't believe how easy his grow method is and he seems to get solid results. Basically he grows in coco mixed with a little perlite and 4tbs of 4-4-4 from Gaia Green per gallon and just waters for the first month. Then all he does is top dress with a mixture of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 every 3 weeks or so, nothing else.

Every other thing I see seems to require a dozen ingredients to start or to be feed throughout the grow and this just seems too good to be true, but he swears by it. I searched the forum and couldn't find anyone bashing him and only a few people talking about him.

p.s Gaia Green seems to only be readily available in Canada, Dr. Earth seems to be the US equivalent.
