Another "stunted or normal" thread request

thx, but I have no tent AC as it is, and I'm running about 80*F almost all the time! Still looking for a new light. I wonder how long to get a light through alibaba (kingbrite, bava, etc)

I have seen lots of folks order from alibaba but it does seem to take a while. I don’t know where you are but if there are any hydro shops around it my be worth calling and see if they have a “pre owned” light section. I’ve seen lots of shops that have them and you can sometimes score some killer deals. Just a thought

that's a great idea! maybe they can make my current light "pre-owned" as well, in the process!

Was worth a shot in legal states 2nd hand lights are easy to find.

Also Craigslist can be a last resort. If you do go that route make sure you test the lights before you pay!

Yeah that’s how they do it, normally you can trade your old stuff in. I mean they might only give you 20 bucks for yours or something but if you are strapped for cash it can def help to trade it in. Especially if you are not even gonna use your current one if you get a new one

I looked there as well, not much available, probably due to the legal attention it may draw. Only so many "indoor tomato growers) around!

I would go with Derek's recommendation if you have a hydro shop close. The ones around here have used light sections or they know someone that is selling a light.

Don't know why I did not think of it before your running a 2x2? get an auto cob from cobshot.net. I have been told you can run a 2x2 fairly well. Have not tried it my self but I know they put off very little heat and they run 125 a piece. If you want to upgrade you just buy another and so on instead of sinking a ton into one big light.

I run the same led chips in my light I built in my signature.

I know they might be cheaper through Alibaba and such but BigSmo also warranty's his product for five years and they give of very little heat plus you should not wait as long.

Just a few thoughts.

Oh yeah if you can snag an AC do THAT! IMO it’s hands down the best light for newEr growers. They are affordable and boy to they work. I have seen a former member grow almost a 500g double grape with TWO autocobs. I’m not jokin it was dcat and he used my max o2 technique and got like 478 grams or something in a 2x2’ with 110watts. It was crazy cool and it sucks he’s not still on here.
