Fast Buds American Autoflowers with A-Train

@A-Train Hey man, been following all your grows for awhile now. Few weeks back I actually started my own grow, have 3 autoultimates and 3 automazar. I'm using the AN nutrient range, g/m/b, b52, big bud, bud candy. I'm just wondering if you still do a preflower flush? Is it needed with the ph perfect nutes? I'm just curious as I'm about 2 weeks or so into flowering and the bottom leaves are yellowing and dying off and it seems to be spreading upwards. I'm guessing it might be nutrient lockout specifically locking out my N. So I'm wondering if I should flush or if it's just normal. Sorry for picking your brain here, I don't want to be annoying it's just I'm a little worried as it's my first grow, and thought you'd be the man to ask! Cheers

It's all good brother. I'm assuming your using promix here? If ypu are there'd a few things. First thing is what light are you using. If the light isn't pwerful enough OR the plants are big and bushy wich the AU can do there's not enough light reaching the lower growth and they are just dieing off and it's not a problem at all.

Second it could very well be some type of lockout bit in the pro mic and using that schedule it's actually pretty rare. But I will tell ya it can never hurt to flush a plant just to make sure it's not a problem there. To do this I would run the hose through the medium with low pressure for 5 min or so. Some say 3 times the pot size so if it's a 5 gallon pot then run 15 gallons through it . I then let the pot sit for about 30 min to drain. Then mix a normal nutrient and put a few liters in each. That ensures your not flushing the plant and then starving it after. Then just continue the normal feed regiment.

To answer the Question no I no longer do a flush before flower.

Can you post a few pics and tell me the light your using

I think the dolomite is a good idea. Subbed up
If it works I'm stealin it! :baked: Be much easier than dealing with cal/mag liquid supplement.
I like it very much. I have added dolomite to my soil since my first grow.
I miss owning a soil probe, as it may buffer the soil close to pH 7 and I have no measurements of soil pH.

I have dolomite in my mix. When I test my soil pH it almost always is 6.8 exactly.

I'm using biobizz light mix it's the only decent soil I can get locally and heard good things about it. I liked the idea of having little nutes in the soil so I had more control over the feed. The plants are quite bushy that's for sure, with your insight I am leaning more towards it just being lack of light as all the new growth/growth half way up the plant is a nice lush green and looks quite healthy and the little buds are beginning to fatten a little.

I'm using a lumii 600w sunblaster full spec hps. As I said I'm about 2 weeks or so into flowering, If a flush is needed will hinder the flowering in any way? If I see any yellowing need the top I'm more than likely going to flush so the plan is to monitor them closely over the next few days.

I'll post some pics as soon as I get to my room later on. Thanks for taking the time to help me out A-train, appreciate the time and effort for a scrub like me!
