Grow Mediums Amending soil/topfeed autopot experiments

So it's been 15 days since i transplanted into these autopots. I had concerns initially, but It's time to give them a soak and set up the reservoir. I'm leaving for 10 days, and I'm pretty confident in 20 gallons of water being enough. I still have someone to check on them for me while I'm gone.

Been doing similar, but with supersoil. Fine for veg, but you do have to do a good bit of work in flower if you want to run 5gal pots.

I’m in the middle of moving to “no till” beds now. The grassroots living soil beds, specifically.

I using a tray under the bed, and started to use one of the auto valves in the tray. Not 100% sure on that part, and may take it off. I also have a blumat setup up top, with a big and small carrot, with drip tape between.

The auto valve isn’t really necessary, but I have them so thought I’d give it a go.

I love the auto pots, but needed bigger fabric pots. Once I got to 25gal pots, I ended up zeroing in on beds.

Still topdress a little, bit not near the amount of work as the same thing and trying to keep up with a 5gal pot.

Thanks for your input. I had planned on making some super soil this summer, so your input is appreciated. I do want to topfeed teas. But I definitely want the reservoir to be water only.

They are looking nice! Small deficiency starting in the frosty's biscuits with the tips yellowing. Brewing a tea for them today for topfeed tomorrow. Cutting res off just before lights off.

Thinking that I'll start flowering in a few weeks. I'll cut clones next week on everything

Did LST on a few of the bigger plants. Also 10/10 germination on new420guyseeds Tahoe og f4 regs just put into the fabric nursery pots today.

Probably time to add more amendments in the soil. Another plant is starting to yellow. Just in time for flowering.

Thinking I'll amend with everything except the blood meal. No need for a rich readily available nitrogen going into flower, the teas have some as well as the other amendments. Just going to use the bone meal crab meal insect frass kelp meal and nectar of the gods one shot, 4 tablespoons of the amendments and 8 of the one shot.

Going to clone everything since most Plants did well and I'm working on making some personal feminized seeds so I have something to run while I look for more females from regular packs.

This is the first time I've ever fully vegged a plant in the autopots. Most of the time i just hand watered Plants in 1 gallon pots until they were ready to flower (I flower most plants at 18") and then transplant into the autopot for 10 days and then off to flower. Very pleased with the growth of the plants in veg with autopots. Water only in the reservoir was a nice change. I also didn't use the hydroton pebbles since I learned of how little impact they have. I used the root control disk gold side up inside the pot

Tahoe og f4. 48 hours in a paper towel and another 48 in these nursery pots

Thinking about tossing a trellis in to level the canopy out. Thinking I should flower these starting tomorrow. Sniping clones just for fun, I don't normally clone but I'm still considering some of these for a seed run.
The sour cookies x white runtz has roots that have braved past the copper matrix fabric. Haven't had that happen before. Not particularly worried though, they might prune themselves when I dry the trays out for the tea brews.
