Buy piece of poster paper and cut a slit in it. Slide the stem through the slit and kind of make an overlap of the the paper, creating a little bowl effect and tape it shut. Just let it sit on top of the pot or prop it up a little. When he's done dumping cut him down and scrape the poster board clean

@mohawk warrior I took a paper plate, cut a slit in it, threaded the stem through then just taped it shut. It did fine for collecting. You could also go tedious & pick ripe balls off then tap the hell out of them on parchment paper or glass.

This is how i collect pollen. Coffee filters around the stem, and it works great as the color contrast helps see hoe much you have. Once i collect my pollen i will then put it in a new coffee filter to dry out for a week. Make sure that everything is dry and then i add it to a vial and then add some of those silica beads to it. Then its off to the freezer. Itll stay good for about a year or at least that is how i have had success.
Also im trying a new method too, right now i am in the process of working a new line, and with that new line there are going to be stellar males. My f1 male selection was TITS. dense, color, resin, and black leaf. I want to keep that trait strong. So right now i have done everything that i mentioned about the pollen except freeze it. In my mind as long as its stored at a decent temp 68-70 degrees it should stay alive. I have the silica in it and in a sealed plastic container. Its about 9 or so months old and i tested it and i had pollen take. More on that once i feel that its right to state such information. I dont just spit shit out there. I want to make sure that the info i post is correct.
