Or it could be a fast growing higher yielding plant that I can cross with some of my medical strains. Its just a strain name my friend. I have lots of different strains that I like to try and experiment with. Thats the fun of this hobby
Harvest day 85
So we harvested the cash crop today and concluded the test of smart pot size. In this experiment we ran one plant in a #3 smart pot and a #5 smart pot. The results are...
#3 smart pot=275g wet
#5 smart pot=155g wet
The #3 plant grew taller and had nice solid buds.
The #5 plant was shorter and bushy. Had a serious cal/mag deficiency around day 60 and she never really recovered.
Pic to follow.
I have no clue. I don't smoke personally. After they dry and cure for a bit I will have the wife give it a taste test.
That is strange about the cal/mag issue.
Even the same strains can react different. I have 8 ladies going all on the same feed schedule, but only 1 has the tips burnt on it and I am not pushing them that hard on the nutes either. I usually run all the same strain every cycle and notice variants on little things, like the cal/mag deal you have going on. It has nothing to do with pot size. Its totally up to each planteven of the same strain. Wonderful looking ladies none the less! Glad to see ya growing trees, AK! Some plants are more sensitive than others with certain things.
Thanks @briman for the support and info. I have noticed the same thing since I do the same as you. I normally grow the same strain in a run. It is pretty cool the difference you see in each individual plant.
If you all don't mind, I am going to throw my DP Auto Ultimate on this thread. She is on day 40. I started her as a back up just in case my DWC had issues and failed. She is growing in a #2 smart pot using AN nutrients. So far she is looking nice. She is not super big, only 22" tall with nice open branch structure.
