Gonna run these in a small closet area.600W HPS.Gonna put up a SOG when the time is right.Ill top em once.My goal is over a gram a watt so we will see how this goes.I think i can pull it off if i cut at the 8th node to get 16 colas per plant.20 grams per cola will get me there if i cut off the garbage.
Using General Hydro line.Flora Nova grow and all the extras.Room temp is right at 74 and the water temp is dead on 64.Started em off at 400PPM in 75/25 RO water PH to 6.1 - 6.3.2 days ago i dumped the system and refreshed it to 1100PPM and they are all about it.first pic is first day in the bucket on the 11th and next pic was today.Exactly a week.Started em rockwool PH to 5.5 for an hr and a light 200PPM solution soaked.They sprouted the next day in a dome and i let em sit for 3 days.
Ill keep it updated.PPM yesterday when i refreshed the system was 1100 and dropped to 1000 in a day so they are good to go.These autos love to eat.

Day 10 on this setup.I dropped the PPM as 24 hrs revealed it was slightly going up so brought it down to 750.After 24 hrs it was still around 750 so i left it.Everything seems good.The right plant has some really weird growth.It mutated and skipped a node but spit out a huge one on one side than curved over and back up.Now it seems it has two tops.Weird ill have to see how it pans out.Got em under 600W MH now and will wait for hairs.

Good luck hitting your target dude- its definitely achievable! If you could get hold of some mylar/ panda film it would really help make the most of the 600w

Day 12 update.PPM is dropping about 30 a day so they are eating more than whats available so thats a good sign.Running right at 775 now.PH is stable at 6.1 right now.hasnt changed in 2 days.No signs of hairs yet.Im hoping they will Veg for a couple more weeks so i can top and scrog,we'll see.room temp is 75 degrees and 51 percent humidity.Water temp still running 65 degrees.I added a couple more lines of the GH into the mix also.600W MH light is right at 18 inches from tops showing me right at 45,000 LUX.As low as ill go with a fan on them.Ill put a fan on them when they start to flower so i can get light a lil closer but for now there good.

Alls good today.Not much has changed since yesterday.Looks like i got about 1000 seeds from crossing fast buds northern express into humboldt green crack and green crack into dinafem sour diesel.Sour diesel has alot but the northern is completely covered up in seeds.I think im gonna grow some out on the next run in my 12 plant room.I also crossed some blackberry kush into the mix,a little on everything so those seeds will be cool to see what pops up.got about 2 weeks left on all the seeds.Going DWC on that run also and see what i can get under 2k of HPS.These plants are really taking off in this recirculating setup i built.

Looks like im beating the clock,No pistils yet whatsoever and made it to the 7th node up so i fimmed the top.well see how many i get.The one on right is a crazy plant.Its putting out 3 branches instead of the usual 2 for every node.Shits crazy,and than one side branch came off super thick and made a double top.I topped that one also.I need about 12 more inches before it flowers to do this right.Im hoping it will go to 25 days before pistils than i know ill be able to fill in the screen.I got the screen set up and now im about 12 inches from the bottom of it which is where i wanna be to get it right.
I added a 45l per min air pump as i think the other pump sucked anyway and need more air in the buckets.
So far things going as planned.

Got the screen up.Should be perfect size for 600 HPS.

Woh! Great haul. Your two sweeties here are growing just lovely.
But if you need some help using up those 1000 seeds... hahahahahaha!!!!!
I'm hoping to do some crosses into seeds next grow too. Good work.

15 days total
I finished painting the closet area and got all the ac ducting in place.Put a raptor hood in there also.it fits good.5 inches of clearance long ways an inch short ways.Got 600 watts of HID on them now right at 18 inches away.i snapped a pic of the thermometer.bottom temp is top of closet and top temp is right at the canopy.I noticed topping them slowed them a little but they seem to be growing out now.Also put a pic of the weird plant that mutated.It seems to have self topped itself and split into 3 tops together.2 went one way and the main one curved off to the left.
Still no hairs yet wich is kinda wierd cause i usually see hairs around day 20.wait and see i guess.

this plant grew crazy.Its like it split off into 2 sections and the right side had a double top.those tops are putting out 3 branches per node.This plant is gonna be crazy in a scrog.

Day 16
Was time to put a fan on them.Noticed the slight crinkles in the leaves yesterday and the plants kinda having that hiding look they get when its a little to warm.So without raising the light i just put a fan on em.They stretched out nice in 12 hrs.I had a slight calcium issue about a week ago and caught it right away.The PH was at 6.2 - 6.3 for to long and was locking out the calcium.Since than i have added CALIMAGIC at 300PPM to the water before before i put anything else in.I just keep adding the cal mag untill i hit 300 PPM and than add everything else from there.The calcium issue went away.No more brown spots to speak of pooping up anywhere.also brought the PH down to 5.6 -5.8 to a better range for calcium.
They seem to have recovered quickly from the topping.Seems like they are back to growing fast again so well see how soon they can hit the scrog before they start flowering.LST is cool and makes cool pics but i dont have the time to be bending and tying over plants.I learned if you cut a top off she will give it back somewhere else.These plants are remarkable in the way they operate.
Also seeds have been dropping out of my femenized sour diesel/green crack mix.8 so far about 400 to go and the feminized northern express/green crack mix is completely covered.All the buds are loaded with seeds.too many to even guestimate.

16 days.Looking good.I couldnt ask for a healthier shade of green on these plants.

Is the scrog more of a support system for autos or does it actually work like it does for photos? Asking for a friend
