Tiny Pots
@Suki813 I failed at Bonsai. Did not get around to it and by time I did they shot up like crazy. Kind of digging the variance in the LSD 25s. They were always purple in my past experiences. 1 purple 1 half purple and 2 green.

@Fermented_Fruitz do you have any experience with fermented insect frass? I am being told by a few people it is their go to now in flower. Although that comes with the caveat it smells utterly disgusting. Should not be to hard to make at home instead of paying 60 bucks a gallon just was wondering if you had any experience with it.

...nuthin' freaky about it...! :rolleyes2:  .... that's a rare one AJ, it looks like just a bare minimum of the node's growth point was missed, just enough to regenerate a new lead?
...it'll be a gas to see a mini-cola form up there!

I am going to let it run and see where it ends up. Hopefully it matures into a bud.

That is my guess suppose I should not be giving her a haircut when I am stoned out of my gourd. :baked:

....no reason it shouldn't!

 sure, blame it on the buzz! :rolleyes2: ...like there's a better time to do it?

Funny, both the Garlicane and the Cherry WiFi had unintended late toppings last year due to some rather odd richness burning from the KIS Organics soil, mid-veg' or so,... it shut down the growth on just the top mains, so I lopped them off! The plants all but sighed in relief, and shot up the lats quickly :coffee:
End result was great, little to no branching on those upper laterals (due to lateness I reckon), buds stayed compact and chunked up nicely... musta been at about node 8 -10, I forget...but I may try this again deliberately!

I've had this happen a few times, I snap the tops with my fingers or pinch them off with my nails. In my experience they have produced buds, but not as heavily as the other tops.

I’ve never used it personally but my local grow shop has it and def looked at it but the price kept me away! Not sure if u can make it at home with a bag of frass and some molasses! I got a bunch of both so may be something worth trying!

Yeah I mixed up a batch on the fly I used a similar recipe as to what growing organic using for their dandelion ferment. I did the below. Actually @Suki813 has me all motivated again. Using some wild dandelion seeds as some cover crop so I can ferment that shortly and this this summer I have a few peach trees so I will ferment that then. Then if all goes well I can cut back on my nutrient blend consumption a little.

1lb insect frass
1 1/2 gallon of water
1/3 cup Molasses
1/3 cup EM 1
1/4 cup my homemade LAB (for diversity and I have a ton)

Wait thirty days and see what I get. I used a little more water than what they do with plant material as I figure the frass is more concentrated. Well that is my theory anyway. Chitin gets broken down to Chitanese (spelling) which is the main benefit from what I have read.

@Waira how is the Kis Organics soil overall? I love his podcasts sometimes a little to much science for me, but I make it through. The shipping to get it all the way out to me make it very prohibative.

Ha! If you ende up with more dandelion than you need chop and drop those suckers at the end of the season, it'll give your soil a huge nute boost as the roots and plant material decompose!
