AJs Land of Random Thoughts

Been thinking for awhile of creating a journal where I can post the stuff I do that is not journaled very well (my fault of course). There will be some photo's, extractions, final pictures, smoke reports, and some experiments and such.

My hope is to have a one stop journal where when someone asks a question about something I have done I can find it, and know how it worked out and what I learned so I can pass it on to others in the community.

So to start it off last Thanksgiving Linda Seeds had a pretty good sale on autos and photos that were their genetics. I bought quite a few autos Fat Blueberry, Gorrilla Glue, Banana Smash, and others along with a bunch of photos. I went a little crazy but some of the seeds were 1.50 euro each if I remember correctly.

Below is the Bannana Smash I just harvested. I Wish I would of took a better photo and zoomed in, the fade is very pretty though.

She is dry in jars and pulled a smidge over three ounces. I have not smoked any yet but will be getting there soon. She had a light bannana smell with a hint of sweetness during flower I chopped around 70ish days. I kept this one pretty trimmed up and she was in the back of the tend as I had 8 other plants in the tent for most of her growth so she was not getting as much light as she could of. I think she could easily be a four ouncer and I will be running her again soon to test that. I

I can say the orange hairs on the buds are impressive looking. Not sure how much that means, but the bag appeal is great.

Hey @AJrexxx , love the thread it sucked me in from the first post. As I am looking to do the same thing. Don’t think I wanna do a journal/blog just not sure I would commit all the way through journal. So I was thinking a thread like this.I am wondering where I could do a thread like this? The only thing is my setup is not one specific type of growing. I am still learning how to grow autoflowers to there maximum with proper gardening practices. Just basically a thread where I can post all my junk so it’s not in other people threads. I see your a staff member just hoping you can point me in the right direction.

I also found my self bookmarking your stuff because it is similar to what I doing. Awesome read!! Thank you

New growers would work actually probably the best place. I as you can see have mine in organic growing as that is where 90 percent of my stuff is. Every now and then I do a coco grow or a DWC and use megacrop which is close from my understanding just not completely organic. My focus is organic living soil methods, knf, ferments so a majority of it applies here.

Glad you enjoyed it I hoped you learned something from my grows or mistakes. I try to post the good and bad to be as transparent as possible so people can learn from my experiences. Well that or help me...

Tag me when you get it up and are posting would love to check it out.

There will be plenty just got my first two 30 gallons in and waiting for some grows to finish up to get them moved into the tent. I have been moving towards larger containers for some time. Part of the reason I moved over to mainly @BigSm0 autocobs (up to 8 now) as I need flexibility with lighting as moving around 30 gallon pots is not an option.

I really should've posted my thoughts on that now that I think about it.

The wife is super excited because with the size of the pots I can also grow her french breakfast radishes and fresh herbs she loves along with the cannabis because of all the amount of room in the pots with a 24" circumference. The plan is to have a max of three plants per container.

learn somthing new every day I’m in here. whether it’s right or wrong is another story. I will definitely tag you as I think we are doing similar stuff. I am running coco with MC right now. And about to start another round with that. While Also experimenting with store bought TLS CoM. They have a water only top dress autoflower schedule with there products only. Me and a couple other guys here are going to test the schedule see what it can produce.

Question and try everything is my motto. There is no one size fits all outside of the basics. Your environment has more power over what works and what doesn't than most people realize or acknowledge.

I'm definitely in the experimental pile  I've got plenty of cheapo seeds (bought before finding AFN lol) to burn through so I've got no issue trying new things with them.

It's the best way. Sometimes I think marketing gets in the way of common sense. People hope another bottle or a stronger light will be the savior to their problem. I have grown trees with a cheapo 100.00 mars hydro lights. That's not most people's problem. They get confused by all the information out there and feel a rush to get it right or be a great grower instead of going through the processes and learning by mistakes.

Nothing super exciting going on except my third top as I like to call it. It actually completely healed over and is flowering.
