Hi all,
Ideas about where to grow have been rolling around my mind all day when I think the answer has been right in front of me all this time. The idea of using my closet as a grow box may work. With that idea out of the way, I'm not exactly sure how to get air in and out of the closet. I rather not cut holes in my door nor cut holes into the adjacent closet. Since autoflowers are not photosensitive, is leaving the door open with a fan placed at the opening seem like a good idea? I'm also open for ideas. As for the smell, ozone should take care of that.

-Thanks!

Depends a lot of what kind of light you're going to use. HPS can create a lot of heat and an open door may no be enough. What's above the closet?

I haven't figured out what light to use. Either a 150w - 250w HPS or a bunch of CFLS. I think I am leaning more towards CFLS. I've been searching for CFLS and adding up their cost. I noticed their prices are equivalent to a 150w HPS. Figuring out what type of light shouldn't be this hard, but I'm having a difficult time making up my mind. As soon as I find a tape measure I'll figure out the square-footage.

i would get the hps and move the ballast outside the grow space to help with the heat. cfl's have the ballast inside the bulb housing and are really hot. you could even upgrade to a vented hood later on.

I've decided to build my own 3' x 3' x 5' box.

Materials: Panda Film, Carbon Scrubber, 190CFM Inline Fan, 250watt HPS and MH, air cooled hood(not the cool tube kind)

Strain: Sweet Seeds S.A.D. Auto Feminized(3 seeds)

Right now I'm slowly purchasing the materials. Gathering everything will probably take me a couple of months. I will update when I can. Stay tuned :-)
