There is a pheno in it that has the Biggest trics I have ever seen..they look like strips of velcro
But..
I have only had it out in Photo/pheno...gotta Hunt it in Auto.

'cause its you, Im guessing that yellow-ness is variegation rather than a deficiency/nute problem? (Its also late here and my eyes might be playing more tricks than normal). If it is vari. - NICE! As you know, I love me coloured bromeliads and attractive foliage plants in general and varigated plants are something that I lovoooe - have always loved from a young age actually.

Right, I gotta turn this computer box off and get some shut eye - been trying but its hard when theres new dragons and gigglejuices etc popping up - but Ill be dreaming of a black dominant, variegated leafed plant with deep purple buds. hhmmm I wonder where the culminative genepool for that one may be!

Putting a 1ltr bottle at soil level gives a bit of perspective..makes it easier to Judge the True Height of a girl..

glaucoma..it is the grow-light...they were in the cupboard...and it was p-ing down..so I couldn't pull them out.

not better at all - the variegation has dissapeared now that Ive slept!!! Cheers for clearing that one up. Thinking similar - would help with stealth for sure. Is vari a trait that pops up in canna at all/much? I've heard of some vari. in some BlueStreak Autos though not sure if it was only on a leaf or two and whether was stable - I know its not the easiest trait to breed into bromeliads, need just the right parent and a lotta luck.

TY2, Wiz. It is heated, but def warmer when the lights are on... Prob 68F dark, 78F light, for a guess. Ill set up my thermometers and see. I have been watering backwards, I guess. Ive been doing it right before dark. I thought I saw somewhere that the lights refracting through water was a bad thing - I guess that more for spraying than watering- but that was my backwards logic. For all my issues, my girls are looking great. The white JEMs are gorgeous. Ill have to dig em out for a photoshoot soon.
The reason I was trying to cross pollinate was convinence- not trying to make new strains. The JEMs, PAR, and AK47 are in a seperate grow tent, so I thought I could keep the pollen in one place. The only auto males I have are DUURs. I pulled all my JEMs before I thought of trying to make my own seeds. I guess Ill have to wait til my DUURTY girls get big enough and just try to get some from them. I wish I could afford to just let the pros take care of the breeding!!! Oh well, Ill figure it out eventually. Thanks for the help.
